Should be a strong turnout for Collingwood vs port Adelaide tomorrow. Decent weather and only game at the g this week would drag along some neutrals. Ticket sales look pretty good and with a big GA roll up I’m hoping for 65k. Anything over 60k is still a pass for mine.

St kilda vs Collingwood public sales look reasonably strong. The 2 for 1 GA deal that was offered will bring up the GA walk ups tonight. Depending on how full the afl reserve and mcc is it could be closer to 70k than what we thought previously.

West coast vs gws will probably be closer to 45k, Richmond port low 30s, north vs freo 15-18k and I think pies vs saints will be 65k+

Anything above 60k and I’m happy considering it’s a Thursday night and the current form that we are in.

Round 1 got close to the round 1 attendance record last year. I think it will be given a fair crack again. 4 games at the g. Only killer is GWS and Gold Coast hosting home games

We should get a lot after round 15 by looking at our draw. Cats,tigers, blues, Essendon, Sydney brisbane, hawks and dees games could all have a prime time fixture

So far we know: I get the feeling that round 6 or 8 could be used as one of our Marvel home games. Potentially against Gold Coast, Fremantle or west coast?

Exactly what I’m thinking, we get to get an interstate game out the way early in a round that would get all eyes on us which could lead into a blockbuster round 2 home game in what for many teams is basically round 1

Almost a guarantee that we will start the season against giants at giants stadium. Shame it won’t be at Accor which holds 60k more people but it is what it is.

Collingwood are making an effort to fix that marvel stadium problem. Will be interesting to see how well it works
