I think it's also down to the younger players playing more consistently. I'd put their relatively quick gaining of form to having a dedicated VFL side.

Josh could get some good form up in Afghanistan. A solid but not game-breaking player.

Re: VENT!!!! And reasons why such poor form! Some of our older players were always fallible, but when you combine that with young players, the gap becomes more evident. We're gonna be down for maybe 2 years, if not more when more of our veterans retire.

After leaving at about the 5 minute mark of the final quarter, I haven't seen a second of it, nor do I ever want to.

Mooney the King. Thought I'd combine a couple of player names of the time. Also MDK were the initials for a game which I think was Murder, Death, Kill, which kind of appealed - only with a sense of ruthlessness which I wanted the Cats to get (and thank fruck they did!).
