So many negatives from this game so let’s try and find some positives....
1. McRae looks ok
2. Moore looked ok up forward when the ball enters the 50 decently
3. The injuries will force the stubborn Bucks to make changes

I would say 80% of our problem is the strategy.
I don’t think even the addition of a gun player in our forward line would help given the current game plan.
This “handpass first at all cost” crap ought to stop. How often do we put our own players under pressure by handpassing to a sitting duck...
First off, I hate the game plan. The frequency of other teams waltzing into goal against us uncontested is so frustrating to watch.
That said, it got me thinking... is there a team out there which could execute Buckley's game plan? Perhaps the game plan is a premiership winning one if the...
I can imagine the bashing that will follow but let's keep things in perspective.
I would be concerned if this loss happened close to finals time.
It's only round 3 and it is only one game, plenty of time to adjust/recover
Sure the Germans are a class above us, but all we ask for is that we play to our potential. If we have to point fingers, Pim certainly gets it.
Had we done that, it would not have been a massacre. If we have to point fingers, Pim certainly gets it.
Going into the World Cup, i thought one of...
The referee for our first game is Marco Rodriguez (Mexican and Dracula look-alike),
by all accounts, he is a card-happy referee...
So for those punters out there, put your money on a Grella red card;)
Not sure if it has been posted already

just wondering.... i'm in Melbourne, is there any FM radio stations covering the game? (my portable radio only has FM stations)..
and another question....
i got a flight leaving at 1030pm tonight... will the game end before that? or will i be left stranded without a result until HOURS later?
Positives:
It seems that we can handle having two ruckmen in the team
No fresh injury
Good forward pressure all day
Beams will keep Barham/Sidebottom out of the side this year
Weekly Scapegoat watch: Leroy Brown's second half was excellent, and Tooves was doing his usual thing (minus the crap...

too bad my TV remote control is no longer ok after the bashing it received during our fourth quarter meltdown :(
one week ago...it was all doom & gloom...
this week has brought us so much more joy already...seems that people are no longer pissed off at lockyer for "that" kick-in (which is good coz lockyer has been good for us generally this year)...:p
it seems like we've found a solution to the Barham...
(1) saw Thomas use his left foot on a few occasions (as opposed to doing the banana).... and actually hit a few targets with it..
but that's the only positive i can think of so far..........
i guess N.Brown's game was quite ok too.... (although he was playing on an out-of-sorts Lucas)
it's early days yet... but.. he's looking like a poor man's Rhyce Shaw at the moment.....
it's one thing to kick those 'up and unders'...it's even worse when you miss the target by 10 metres +
Since our premiership window doesn't "officially" open for another two years, do we still expect Malthouse to go if we don't win the premiership this year?
I personally don't think so (as long as we finish top 8 this year)..
On the back of Bryan's performance over the past two games.. should we bring wood back in?
i personally think no.. bryan's been doing an ok job for us.. while wood didn't exactly set the world on fire in the VFL
i live overseas so i rely on the match replays on afl.com for my footy-fix..
yesterday. i waited for the usual 12 hour delay before they posted the collingwood/st kilda match online.. i knew it would be a pretty close game so i tried pretty hard to stay away from the scores before watching...
