I know very little about law but I feel that the AFL internally have a stance where they want to appoint guilt to an individual to absolve those that administer the game of any culpability.
Kosh’s comment about 02-03 isn’t for us, it’s all part of the agenda to make those against his and Hinkley’s regime sound like irrational, ungrateful fair weather supporters . Anyone who doesn’t follow port (or is one of the Hinkley disciples) doesn’t care about the facts, they just want to...
Game of degrees, umpire looks to be in the perfect position but if he takes one step to the right and he would of seen 6 inches between the ball and the post! This really is a stiff s**t moment.
They should just make every score a review in the last so many minutes if the game is closer than a...
We want to turn a game that's played over tens of metres into a game of millimetres and fractions of degrees. Look at the call in isolation, by no means this was a howler of a decision, it's only when you overlay the context of the game that makes it look far worse.
I can't be stuffed pouring over the footage and stills in detail, but from a quick glance the 2 stills from the footage show a clear gap to the post, but the ball in a different position due to the spin on the ball. Issue is probably the frame rate of the video capture that the stills are taken...
Probably 10 minutes in I was almost relieved there was no chance of beating our 2007 GF record but my neuroses were already triggered by nightmares of Ben Brown kicking a bag of 10 against us.
I'm a Vic member ,always get seats with the cheersquad but sitting In the nosebleed section this time. Thought I left it too late but it looks like it was deliberate to not have a port alocation in one or two bays.
Wasn't sure where to post this, Tyson Goldsack talks on and off about his experiences and role with PAFC (warning that much of the content may not be everyone's cup of tea). At about 42 minutes in there's some interesting commentary on player training standards between Collingwood and Port.
Saw on Insta that Boak and Wines are both in the states, long bow to draw but if Wines is there to train with Boak he'd be going a long way towards winning me back.
I've convinced my self after seeing the branding contained in the email to celebrate the 150th year launch that Pirate Life Brewing will be our new major sponsor. I know I'm setting myself up for more disappointment!
I get your point, it's an indictment on the club that we have no standout leaders in Ollies age group. I'm hoping he'll learn a lot from how hard this year has been and will come out all guns blazing next year.
Highest paid player based on expectation, not what he's delivered (so far) and arguably not for the respect he has shown for the position of co captain and the professionalism and sacrifice that the title and dollars hes earning deserve.
