Petty has to go. How long can he survive off one good game forward?
Hate to say it but Woewodin’s second efforts in the first half were some of the worst I’ve seen. Literally just stood there multiple times with the ball nearby. Not sure he’s up to it but also not sure we’ve got anyone else...
Get rid of the bias, Brown clearly makes us function better. When has Brown ever been in the team for his disposal count, tackling or contested marking?
He generally makes strong leads and creates space behind, provides an out with long leads to the wings, gets to the right spot and generally...
Another instant drafting hit. Will be an absolute jet, impressive ability in close too for someone so lightly framed…. Definitely feels like he will move into midfield at some stage.
I’ll probably jinx it now but surely Jason Taylor has to be the best in the business? Hit after hit.
Ladder position - 3rd (hopeful)
If playing finals - GF (hopeful)
B&F - Petracca
AA - Petracca, Gawn
Most improved - Rivers
Gone backwards - Little worried it could be May
‘Scoop’ McClure reporting Oliver told players from other clubs he wasn’t happy at the Brownlow - was Oliver even at the Brownlow? Don’t remember seeing him in any of the vision?
Best of luck Ooze!
Think this will end up being a blessing for us though. Have we really been damaging the opposition with our midfield recently (ie since bang bang bang) considering we have two of the games top midfielders getting fed by the best ruckman over that time?
Is our game day...
Interesting it always seems to be Michael Warner reporting on this. Also interesting how the timing coincides with important points of the season (just before it began, before finals etc)
He’s not a forward but let’s be serious Grundy is an A grade AFL player at his best - the type of player that can make a difference in finals.
Yes he is playing a different role but if we can somehow slot him into our side and get the balance right it’ll be huge for our finals prospects...
Logical changes, exciting for Oliver.
There was no way we could leave JVR as the one tall marking forward plus expect him to ruck against TDK who is a seriously good ruckman.
We need someone other than just JVR to compete in the air up forward otherwise Weitering will dominate. Blues apparently have the best rated defence since Round 10, now is not the time to go with one genuine tall target.
Obviously has his deficiencies up forward but Grundy in for mine -...
Hope the win doesn’t paper over the cracks of how poor some of our bottom 3-4 players were last night.
Spargo is out of form but unsure dropping him will do much, probably deserves another chance. Jordan is plain not good enough, his out on the full in the last few minutes last night after...
Jordan in is pretty bleak but realistically our cupboard is pretty bare midfield depth wise currently - which makes the coaching groups reluctance to play Pickett through there even stranger.
Assume Melksham stays in because they want a natural forward in there which Smith definitely isn’t...
I know it will never happen but would love for them to make a statement and drop ANB.
Cannot keep rewarding mediocrity in the forward line. As I said last week his fumbles/poor game awareness and generally not being a great footballer right now is costing us more than his other random stats -...
Surprise surprise the absolutely useless ANB costs us more goals + the chance at winning the game by being a VFL quality footballer.
I could not give a s**t how many pressure acts or how many KM’s he runs the blokes not AFL quality.
Yes last week was disappointing but gee people forget quickly - win against Collingwood was probably our best in 12 months. No need to be so negative…
We are bringing in three players who have proven they can play at AFL level, and losing 1x deadwood in Jordan and a promising but inexperienced...
The dumbest thing about the Clarry rumour is the fact that if there really was something to cover up don’t people think they would have just made up he had a four week long injury to start with? Would have been totally plausible with a hamstring.
Then there would have been no interest/no...
Jordan needs to go. ANB and Brayshaw have been given a lot of chances, would love for one of them to be given a wake up call.
I honestly couldn’t care less about some random ‘pressure act’ or similar stat people spruik about ANB, the fact of the matter is his constant fumbling and inability to...

Not sure what the originality part is getting at?
Anyway, fair’s fair valid points and exactly why it won’t happen.
It would be nice if we did try something out of the box like that though - play a defender on him with the agility to stay with him.
I just worry we will fall into the same...
Why don’t you add something constructive instead of the snide comments whenever someone has an opinion you don’t agree with?
Who do you think has the physical attributes to go with Daicos? How will we stop him without tagging him? Add something instead of this I know better than everyone crap.
Won’t happen but I actually would love to see McVee on Daicos too.
There’s no way we could successfully put ANB or Viney on him, he’s way too agile. Will cut us up if we don’t check him closely with someone who can stay with him.
I’ll be pissed off if we let him run around by himself without...
Not sure what people expect?
Sparrow was in the team prior to getting suspended, he wasn’t dropped. So he’s back.
Harmes is (rightfully) next in line in the midfield rotation. Who else on our list has shown anything which deserves them getting a game in the midfield ahead of Harmes? The...
Strange thoughts from some, why wouldn’t we bring in TMac or Brown? Gawn/Grundy + JVR isn’t enough unless we were leaving Gawn there permanently (Grundy isn’t enough of a presence).
Leaving JVR as the sole permanent big forward to take the oppositions best defender + also have to compete...
Can someone please explain what Jordan brings to the team above Harmes?
Need Harmes and Spargo in the team. Also, Petty needs to be in the backline - ridiculous we’ve played around with our strength down back and the chemistry they’ve had.
Jordan and Sparow out Harmes and Spargo in. Both Sparrow and Jordan were as bad as each other with their defensive running, Harmes isn’t too great at it either but a point needs to be made.
Petty should not be playing forward. Doesn’t know when to lead, doesn’t create an option to provide...
