Syd Uni U18 grand final being streamed live, go to sydnsy afl site and click on the link if you'd like to watch. Yakimov, Hartley and Perry all playing.

Perry was first emergency for the GWS team and wasn't required. Hartley, Yakimov and Perry all playing U18's for Uni today, probably to try and ensure they qualify for the finals.

    Future Magpies Watch '10

Yakimov should be back next week, all things going his way.

Will have to correct you Royal, the only games plaed this weekend in Sydney were the U18's....no seniors. Perry was a late call up for GWS who were up against the Geelong Falcons.

It was the top of the table clash too, against East Coast Eagles. Only saw the last half of the game, Perry has got speed and manages to get himself into space but being the new kid on the block they didn't seem to use him as an option.

Update for you Royal, Hartley played in the GWS side against Calder Cannon and kicked a goal, Perry played his first game for the Syd Uni premiership side. Stlii finding his feet after being out with injury but managed a goal and did some good things.

Witts has had a bad trot with stress fractures, firstly in his hips now in his back. I don't think you'll see him play this season. As for Perry, he copped a knee from Josh Bruce (who by the way is a solid bloke and goes hard) in the 2nd game with GWS. Came back last week for Syd Uni and played...

Also, if you look on the NSW/ACT sportingpulse website they have an updated listing of scholarship players and they've named a kid called Jed Hillman as a Collingwood listing but nothing official from the club....bit strange!!

Just to confirm Tyson Carracher is playing in the GWS listed squad because the team named for this weekend is made up of the NSW Rams players

I've been following this talk about the wonderkid with interest over the past couple of months, and I think everyone should start to get a bit more excited. I just hit pay dirt.

Witts is still injured Trade. Hartley went ok but the Knights hunt in packs which is something our boys haven't come across much up here. There was no room for errors.

    Future Magpies Watch '10

Yep, I went and watched the game, they all have a lot to learn but it's the best competition for our boys to be in. Perry played in the backs for the whole game only coming off in the 4th quarter with cramps. He definitely had his work cut out for him. Hartley played CHF, but an injury to his...

Unfotunately Royal the Pioneers were pretty ordinary compared to the other teams but I would put alot of it down to the coaching. The midfield were all over the place, no structure whatsoever, then they had Perry down the back who looked like a horse ready to jump but couldn't get a start. To...

No sign of Parsons and I did hear that he's no longer on contract but don't know any other details.

Back from Coffs....Firstly, Witts never played, didn't even go to Coffs ruled out with a strees fracture to his hip. He's been told to lie low for approx 6 weeks. Yakimov got injured in his first game, wasn't ther to see it but from what I heard it could possibly be an ac injury. Perry manage a...

I'll see if I can get something from Coffs.

    Future Magpies Watch '10

Haven't seen any of them train etc since their grand final victory with Syd Uni and unfortunately it wasn't a game you could rate any of them. But I will be in Coffs so hopefully have some goods news when we get back

Witts stands a whopping 204cm and probably still growing. Sydney Uni played him at full forward on quite a few occassions and no one could near him height wise in respect to marking the ball. He barely had to jump. Hartley probably outjumps him in the ruck though, he's a bit more athletic.

Hi all & happy new year. A few things Royal, Hartley and Yakimov are now officially U18's. They're both born in 93 so turn 17 some time during the year. All four of our boys (Witts, Hartley, Perry & Yakimov) are currently training with the GWS team in regards to TAC Cup. There's no guarantee...
