They kind of missed an opportunity to stylise the logo/fur in to the shape of Tasmania. Seems like a missed opportunity as opposed to the janky shapes they rolled out.
The odd thing with VanPelt was he was OC @ Buffalo in 2009, then took 11 years before becoming OC again @ Cleveland.
In those 5 years he spent as OC his offenses have ranked 30th, 16th, 18th, 14th and 16th in YPG and 28th, 14th, 20th, 18th and 10th in point scored - it's kind of middling and...
I'm curious about this mockup, which seems close to what we may see - I think it might look good in concept, but look poor on field.

It will be an interesting season. While we have the lame duck HAM and SAI seats this season, we'll also have a lot of other drivers jockeying for the vacant Merc seat (and possible PER seat, among others).
Add in the possibility of Horner being usurped, it has the potential for a lot of uncertainty.

On the returners argument, one could also make the argument for Mel Gray and Brian Mitchell to go along with Hester.
