Clark looked very good in his first season. Clearly something going on internally at Cats with him - if he comes at the right price then we should take him if he improves the squad

I think we need to load up the truck at one of these drafts, bank some good young talent, and back them as a group to support what we already have in place with Darcy + our mids (brayshaw, cerra, serong, young henry etc etc), and see if we're good enough...

I think if we are ever to load up and try to push for a premiership we need to get as many quality players available asap. Given its looking like a lowly year wins wise, maybe we keep our first, trade next years first for another top pick this year, and hit the draft for 2 quality high picks...

In exceptional circumstances, it would have been an easy good news story for the AFL to create - Freo's first premiership!. The only team to go undefeated in the H&A and final series ... Is the best outcome for what is a terrible end to a season ... Rather they created just a losing scenario...
