Absolute speculation, but my top 2 are Melbourne and Brisbane.
Melb would be favs for mine.
Petracca, Oliver & Gawn in the middle is a huge tick, with Lever & May down back. Dissapointing 2022, will be hungry for success in 2023. Better list than Geelong & Sydney on paper IMO.
I like Brisbane...
Seems a few teams have Bont, will be interesting to see if he makes it. Has had an underrated season, although a fair way off his 2019 or 2021 season. Not sure he makes the field, but 50/50 for a bench spot.
Yup. No votes for Neale tonight. A quarter to go and you'd think currently the votes will be between Pickett, Fritsch, Brayshaw, Jackson, Lever, Trac & Oliver.
I went
Weighted
2. Oliver
2. JDG
2. Trac
Forced for the 3-2-1
3. Oliver
2. JDG
1. Trac
Could easily see Trac and Oliver switched for the 3/1.
Could go anyway though tbh. Don't think Gawn polls, hacked it a fair bit, is a ruck in a losing side and wasn't a standout.
Melbourne vs Collingwood is going to be interesting, loss in a small margin, dees led most of the night and Oliver & Trac clear best 2 on the ground. No real pie stand out.
If Neale doesn't poll it's going to be really fun. Trac, Oliver, Brayshaw, Neale & Cripps could all be within 2-3 votes of each other. I'm liking Trac/Neale for the run home, but anyones medal atm IMO. Even Touk wouldn't be far off if he pulls a BOG tomorrow against West Coast.
My teams finished, 1 trade left for an injury. Stuck with Ridley and Heeney.
Jackson & Wehr my only real bench cover (Carmichael & Buku might get a few games here and there).
3 trades left. 90k banked.
do I go
Cripps > Steele (get 5 games out of Steele)
or
Ridley > Stewart in R20 trades (will only get 4 games out of Stewart)
Will hold 2 for injury, only care about rank.
