Our inaccuracy prevented it from being a percentage booster. You all continue to underestimate us.

Roast Round 3 post game rant thread

Full credit to Essendon for being the better team. We have more class and talent and dominated for large periods of the game.

Essendon supporters - come in here to discuss your 0-3 start to the season

We will flog you maggots. Your over-confidence is amusingly similar to last year and what a belting we handed out then! Only your midfield looks similar to ours on paper but our backline is much too strong for your hack 'forwards'. With Bower missing one of the more embarrassing defences in the...

    Priority Pick & Father Son

You have had plenty you dud. You've just stuffed them all up. The PP rule is gone for now.

    Bower Out

What you would not have seen on the TV yesterday was the number of times Gumbleton had found space on his opponent but did not have the ball kicked to him. They won't ignore him this week.
  7. R

    Bower Out

Kicked 2.2 yesterday and led strongly all day. Dukes were much better then Round 1. Only played 7 games.
  8. R

    Bower Out

Rumours going around that he was sore though I think he was omitted. After the farce yesterday one of Neagle or Laycock will definitely come in. More likely to be Neagle. I understand your Thornton comment but Gumbleton's endurance and height will worry him.
  9. R

    Bower Out

Gumbleton will be too much for Thornton. The 3rd tall suits him.

Media Bashing of Dons Begins... Not Good For Us.

Exact same as Judd, Fev and Stevens.

    Bower Out

Who will play on Gumbleton and Neagle?
  12. R

    Essendon

Even Fremantle struggled to play worse then us yesterday.

Preview Round 3: Carlton v Essendon

Soreness. Though him playing on and stuffing it up was good enough to get omitted so he could have a good, hard look at himself.
  14. R

Preview Round 3: Carlton v Essendon

A lot of confidence against a team that has consistently belted you for years. Neagle may not have the engine but has the size and talent to cause plenty of problems.

No 'e' in scary:thumbsu: Your forward line is not particularly intimidating either.

    Round 2 - In-game Scores and Chat

2216 with Hodge, Hunt and Franklin to play. Do emergency scores count if there is a position which has not had all of its players play? eg. I had Macguire as emergency who scored 100 and have Hodge to play.

Preview Round 3: Carlton v Essendon

Neagle was omitted last week but is likely to come back this week.

Preview Round 3: Carlton v Essendon

Yet we will still belt you. Watch for Gumbleton.
  19. R

    Essendon

Fremantle deserve no respect. The loss yesterday was entirely due to our poor performance. You will always be the rabble of the competition.
  20. R

Preview Round 3: Carlton v Essendon

You are missing the 3 players that always cut us up in Judd, Stevens and Fevola which is a more significant loss then Lloydy and Lovett.

Could this be Collingwood's big year?

:D 20 years ago is the best you can do? Says a lot about the Colliwobbles.

    R2 Essendon FC V Fremantle FC -=Who Will Win=-

We have plenty to lose. Losing against Fremantle is unthinkable and I would book us in for bottom 4 if it were to eventuate. We are a much better team all across the field and should win easily. Essendon by 60.
  23. R

Could this be Collingwood's big year?

:D The optimism has come early for the Pies this year. As per usual they will slip up against the big teams in the finals. We will belt them on ANZAC day.
  24. R

Did West Coast win the Judd trade?

Carlton easily won the trade. What on earth is a Masten? Judd has transformed the Blues from a laughing stock to a finalist whereas West Coast had their 'dynasty' destroyed and have fallen to Carlton's previous state almost. They had no choice and had to make do with what Carlton offered.

Hille likely to be suspended for Round 2

We will most likely flog you. Fremantle don't beat us in Melbourne.

Final 8 set to become final 10

What on earth is with people constantly using Essendon of last year as an example of why the final few positions in the 8 are a waste?! Going by last years ladder positions we knocked off the teams that finished 1st, 4th and 7th whilst drawing with Brisbane and somehow managing to lose to the...

Liam Jurrah to miss the next four months

Bad luck. Our club has been through similar injury pain in the past. Not too much sympathy back then. As it is people only really care about their own teams fortunes. Best of luck to the young lad in any case. Another shocking year coming up for the Dees.

    2010 Ladder Predictions

Agreed. The miserable club will be in the bottom 8 yet again.
