    most gigs i go to i already know the openers. baroness/lamb of god opening for metallica, pain of salvation opening for dream theater, animals as leaders opening for between the buried and me and periphery, and as timtamWB mentioned, circa survive opening for coheed. all excellent.

    I've never seen BTBAM or AAL, but I saw Tosin Abasi at his clinic in Geelong earlier this year and he was fantastic. Is there anywhere good for parking near the corner hotel? Me and a mate were thinking the MCG cause they'll have parking for Radiohead.

    dillinger was probably the best thing i have ever seen, just so much energy, as soon as greg puciato climbed into the crowd before the first song i knew it'd be ****ing nuts, weinman falling off a box onto his arse and then continuing to play was a highlight
