yeah it's pretty similar to their gigs from earlier in the year, think I prefer wanting not so much as to do/sunshine the werewolf over setting fire/hero of the soviet union. weird having panasonic youth and sunshine the werewolf split up though haha
most gigs i go to i already know the openers. baroness/lamb of god opening for metallica, pain of salvation opening for dream theater, animals as leaders opening for between the buried and me and periphery, and as timtamWB mentioned, circa survive opening for coheed. all excellent.
it leaked. at first i wasn't fully sold but a couple of listens later and i'm in love with it, don't expect much similar to First Temple. my favourites that don't include the two songs they publicly released would be Pink Lemonade, That Brahmatron Song and Mauerbauertraurigkeit. Beckon Fire's a...
yeah they're an interesting case in that i love their self-titled album and the silent circus when it was mostly growls and not much singing, even alaska was probably mostly growls, and yet i also love their stuff from colors onwards but they sound like an entirely different band. i've actually...
Protest the Hero - Volition
Dance Gavin Dance - Acceptance Speech
Coheed and Cambria - The Afterman: Descension (actually forgot this came out in 2013 until someone mentioned it)
The Color Morale - Know Hope
Jonny Craig - Find What You Love And Let It Kill You (EP)
Karnivool - Asymmetry
A Lot...

also where can I find photos from last night, like they had photographers haha
they've been playing that set for a while (with minor changes), i hope they play lay your ghosts to rest after astral body tonight
so yeah, any good spots for parking around the area?
I've never seen BTBAM or AAL, but I saw Tosin Abasi at his clinic in Geelong earlier this year and he was fantastic.
Is there anywhere good for parking near the corner hotel? Me and a mate were thinking the MCG cause they'll have parking for Radiohead.
wait it leaked?! wow, looks like i'll have something to do on my week off uni
wow it's really good, and i'm only up to lay your ghosts to rest! anyone going to see them in november?
holy shit the "walking into a certain state of walking" etc bit in extremophile elite gave me the biggest grin

btbam and AAL holy **** holy ****
i am going to steal paul waggoner's arms so i can play like him, i was tempted to do that to tosin in february but i thought i'd be polite
You're probably going to get blasted for even mentioning anything off Chinese Democracy, but I'm not gonna lie, I enjoy TWAT (heh) and Prostitute, the "ask yourself, what I would do to Prostitute myself, to live with fortune and shame" bit's pretty good...the end of Catcher & The Rye's not bad...
In no particular order:
Between the Buried and Me (definite number one)
Pain of Salvation
Baroness
Coheed & Cambria (even YOTBR)
Protest the Hero
Tides of Man (don't laugh)
Opeth
Dream Theater (mainly back when Moore was around)
Animals As Leaders
Queens of the Stone Age
Actually Alter...
dillinger was probably the best thing i have ever seen, just so much energy, as soon as greg puciato climbed into the crowd before the first song i knew it'd be ****ing nuts, weinman falling off a box onto his arse and then continuing to play was a highlight
