That’s a finals quality team.
With further maturity and experience it will be a top four contender.
Loving the stability in the lineup and players thriving in their roles.
Watson is made for games like this. He brings so much energy to the team and creates uncertainty for the defenders.
Best 23 we've put out for quite a while based on emerging/exposed developing talent, form, excitement potential, and hurt factor.
Will need the defence to play well and if they do, we'll win.
Lets freakin go.
How come you don’t include players like Lewis, Moore, Jiath, Meek in your core?
I get they’re not “young” but I think it doesn’t make sense to make the cut off 22 when those guys will definitely be a part of your next finals/contending side if your current build goes to plan?
...(21)
Seamus Mitchell (21)
Josh Ward (20)
Players too early to tell, or unlikely:

MaxRamsden (20)
Cam Mackenzie (19)
Henry Hustwaite (19)
Bailey Macdonald (19)
Jack O’Sullivan (19)

Bodie Ryan (18)
Next...
...D'Ambrosio, Changkuoth Jiath, Conor Nash, Calsher Dear, Mabior Chol
Sam is taking the piss again. CJ must be the most likely to be sub from those 5, if the sub is to come from one of them.
Then there are 3 emergencies named - Nick Watson,- MaxRamsden,-Harry Morrison. Ramsden is cover for...
Max is also a rookie pick up and has only just recently turned 21. I get your point but let's not forget it's only really just clicked for Meek at the age of 26, these guys take time and it was terrific to see him take over a game the way he did
...Maginness - 36 disposals 1 goal 8 clearances was a beast, running capacity is massive.
Harry Morrison had 33 disposals and was good.
MaxRamsden - 23 disposal 2 goal 26 hitout and 6 clearance game. Unreal.
Chad Wingard - 15 disposals 4 goals looked class
Bennetts good off HF, Hustwaite solid.
...looked composed
34. Finn Maginness - kicked a few goals as a forward, but is struggling to find a role that isnt tagger at AFL level
35. MaxRamsden - had a couple games, but didnt really impress, although it was during our poor form and play style period
36. Bodie Ryan - he has looked good...
Turned 21 last month, so still very young for a big man. He is a genuine David Hale type. Can play a whole game as a ruck or forward. Unlike most rucks who are not great forward or forwards like Chol or Dear who can only give a chop out in the ruck. Still, has come on slowly.
I can't think why people would be upset - Ramsden has been here 2 years now, and whilst I appreciate he has played well on occasion at Box Hill, he hasn't shown anything at AFL level in 5 games to suggest he has a long-term AFL career ahead of him.
He's never seemed fully fit to run out a game...
Elliot, MacLachlan, and speedy player from s.a would be the key ones available if north don’t take the key back from w.a
Part of me thinks we will open up a second spot. Would take a delisting though and may be seen as to harsh.
...players, Oscar Smart is the like-for-like replacement for Butts.
I am not seeing too many standouts… No Jye Newcomb, No Ned Moyle, No MaxRamsden. And while I am at it , No Jacob Edwards, who I would have loved in the 2021 MSD, but proved a bust.
Max Hall has been great for Box Hill …...
According to Paul Amy, Doggies sniffing around Max Hall for the MSD.
Not a big need for us, so imagine any appetite at our end would be if we got a second pick like how we picked up Blancky after first targetting best overage talent in Ramsden.
