Or getting a solid under contract but unplayed key defender for a bag of chips like RyanGardner

There's no way we will be complacent. Most premiership metrics have them the #2 or #3 ranked side. The Dogs completely outplayed Sydney. Smashed them in contested ball, clearances, inside 50's, scoring shots. More intercepts and less turnovers. Just couldn't kick straight.

If we can have a good run from here, our teams should be looking amazing in 4-6 weeks, with plenty of fresh legs.
The VFL team in particular had stood up exceptionally well given the injury run.
Credit where credit is due.

Good to see Michael off the “weeks” and now into a test.
He looked good two years ago so I’ll be very interested in what he can offer when he finally plays for the twos and as his contract is up this year you’d think this back half of the year is literally make or break. Perhaps Shadeau has...

Games like these is why players like RyanGardner and O'Donnell are always valuable (and it's a shame they're both injured). When Swans transition ball movement is on, sometimes your defenders just need raw athleticism to defend two players at once.
Almost all of those were best 22 at their club. That is exactly the types we should be targeting. I don't think people are referring to those players when we express dissatisfaction with some of the list decisions. Though happy with Harmes and Coffield personally.
Baker, Lobb and Gards are...
I don't have a problem with the players we have traded in just that we always seem to be picking up low ceiling delisted players in the SSP and MSD when we already have a problem with our depth of AFL quality player. If we continue down this same path as this it is going to get really ugly when...
...due for a spell in the VFL but otherwise he's been handy.
Alex Keath was our most important defender for a stretch, is an area of need
RyanGardner is the one that is neither quality, nor an area of need (given he can't really intercept, nor can he play on a key)
Edit: I probably think there...
"Two rival recruiters, who spoke anonymously to this masthead because they were discussing another club’s plans, believe West Perth’s Jasper Scaife, a 197-centimetre forward who turns 20 in September, is in the Roos’ sights."
What a weird premise for an article.
