He really didn't. Lost quite a few 1v1s.
He's not exposed too much because you were double teaming Lynch and winning in general play so Lynch got few good opportunities.
Lynch also kicked a few goals he'd usually kick.
Frampton is Collingwoods one weak link right now.
Collingwood have a clear weakness in Frampton.
Lynch was double and triple teamed all night but the few 1v1s he got he won most...could have kicked quite a few goals but for inaccuracy.
Dixon got a hold of Frampton too last week but had to play second ruck and Port got smashed so not much...
What are you talking about.
Richmond have been a fast paced, high octane, hard running, high scoring team...exactly what the AFL would want.
Crazy how Richmond think AFL are trying to curtail them with the new rules. If anything, the stand rule should arguably HELP are team like yours the way...
There was like only 1 50m for abuse.
The others were for crossing too close over the mark, not giving the ball back etc. They were legit 50m penalties, one the Tigers player threw the ball to a Richmond player thinking it was his free kick, and another Grimes kicked the ball way over the...
Collingwood would want to at least compete well if not win...they're fielding their best possible 22 on their list outside maybe Will Kelly who is just a young kid unlikely to make much difference anyway.
The only injured players are Will Kelly, Trent Bianco and Reef McInnes...honestly...
Agreed there's plenty of other poor umpires but she definitely is one of them...she pays non-existent frees and every little bit of contact she'll pay a free.
Lol all these negative people...that was a good, entertaining performance full of energy and a decent light show.
And it seems like a lot of people don't realise one of the main reasons for the night grand final was not to compete with the Cox Plate in the afternoon.
Ump was like 'you clearly threw him out of the contest'...Ladham's arms were down by his side.
So many soft frees tonight it's deplorable. The one against Gawn vs Dixon in the ruck contest was also a shocker.
AFL said they were sick of the umpire bashing...probably sent a memo to Ch 7 commentators to go easy on the umps.
The umpiring has been absolutely shocking. So many soft frees that weren't there.
It's a game plan issue more than skills.
We see it all the time, kicking can look s**t when the game plan and structures are poor and players don't know what to do so everything is under pressure. Fix that up and their kicking would look better because they'd be hitting up players in space.
Geez having to watch Tom Browne and Hamish McLachlan on Ch 7 right now...
2 guys who i'm pretty sure only have these jobs because of his parents (Browne) and his brother (McLachlan).
Nice observation genius, no s**t Richmond are a different league. They are currently a different league to every team.
One is the reigning premier who has thrashed many top 8 teams over the last 3 years, the other finished low on the ladder and sacked their coach last season...yet a 24 point...
Getting trashed by Sydney who haven't won for almost 2 months, at your home ground in Melbourne.
Melbourne have been absolutely pathetic the last several weeks, no intent at all to win.
Lol after being caught holding the ball Harmes had a few Sydney players sitting on top of him getting stuck in and no Melbourne player did a thing to help.
Then they let a long ball to the top of the square get over the back for the easiest of goals.
Serious question are Melbourne tanking or just this bad?
They've shown zero intent for several weeks now...just no energy or will to win.
Against Colingwood they were a few goals down with 5 minutes to go and they played slow, possession footy and when Gawn took a shot at goal he took his full...
Because this proves nothing.
A team could get 50 frees for and 0 against in a game, and theoretically they could all be correct calls if that team just keeps giving away free kicks.
The numbers don't necessarily prove anything. It also doesn't factor in non-calls.
Pretty sad to have a swipe at Carlton when it has nothing to do with this thread...so offended over the pick swap.
And yes we did, and got Charlie Curnow out of it. I think we'll be just fine.
Liking the effort...WC are one of the premiership favourites for a reason.
They are far more experienced than us and we have about 8 players missing from our best 22 compared to their 2-3.
