I get where you're coming from, but that game last year really was something else. At one stage in the 3rd quarter the Eagles score was around 18 and the free kick count was in the 20s. It was nuts.
Gotta love a gameday Thursday! Always the risk of a loooong weekend though. Go Bombers!
Here's hoping for a repeat of last season where for more than half the game, the Eagles' free kick count was higher than their score!
Lol. Ok mate, some selective editing if I ever saw it.
How about you tell your man mountain that being touched in a contest does not equal a free kick. He's worse than Ben Brown atm
So the Eagles took 23 contested marks for the day!! 15 of them in the forward half of the ground.
Whatever the hell was wrong with Reid and Moore must have been pretty ******* bad to have James Aish keep them out of the side against the Eagles' giants.
Why are Collingwood the only team allowed to moan about injuries? Funny how they didn't accept a huge late out or Essendon last week, added to a couple of injuries to Essendon during the game! FMD there were some cocky Pies supporters on here a week ago.
So far this season, Collingwood and Melbourne have 21 wins between them for a combined single victory against a current top 8 side...when Collingwood bet Melbourne!
#flattrack
If it was anything like me, I was watching this on my phone, had the TV on the GWS game and no extra tablet handy for posting!
That said, last week's result was a bit of a kick in the plums. Although you guys going down and potentially North too (I hope!) leaves the door ever so slightly ajar...
A game against the Cats a few years ago at the same venue, in the same timeslot, there was a fog hanging in the air inside the stadium! Was difficult to see at times from the top level.
The shootout between the two ridiculously talented, s**t-haired beanpoles would be worth the admission alone!
I dunno, he got a lot of love from the Essendon players before and after the game and quite a few Essendon supporters around me applauded his first touch.
What a great day.
That comment by DerWayne about Steph Curry's 3-point shooting % is one of the worst and most irrelevant pieces of commentating I've ever heard. Just * off, you nasally campaigner.
