Leave for three years in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea at the end of November... looking forward to it, but still elements of uncertainty, understandably I think.
I'm not sure yet. Currently doing my research. There aren't many in Oz for one, and secondly the Oz RRP is $14,000. I'm not willing to pay more than $12k and would prefer less than $11.5.
Don't know if sellers will negotiate as it's a fairly uncommon piece but I'm willing to bargain and wait...
Was there on the weekend for work, went out Saturday night after stereosonic and the cricket finished and the city was absolutely pumping.... Was a good night although possibly not representative of normal Adelaide nightlife.
Wouldn't mind doing one of these in future. What's your general fitness level like? Did you train specifically for this or was your regular training enough to get you through?
Not really a distance runner as I get bored, starting to try and do a bit of running however.
Have a little mini course I do generally Saturday morning in Kings park - I'll go Jacobs ladder x 2, run 2.5 odd km (through kings park, down Kokoda, back around), do Jacobs 2 more times, run again...
Just got a new Tag Heuer diver to go alongside my dress Omega. Love plain, simple dials rather than cluttered Chronos - Aquaracer 300 was what I got. If you're looking for a cheapish (1500-1700) entry level automatic diver, I'd highly recommend.
Current collection:

Looking to get a Glenmorangie Quinta Ruba next.
I'm currently considering investing in a DSLR, can anyone give me some advice about what I should be looking for and how much I would be looking at spending to get something at least kind of decent?
I work at a store where I can get cameras for cost price, so keep that in mind...
not chips but at the moment i'm rating pretzels as an alternative. But if it's going to be chips its Sour Cream and Sweet Chilli from Red Rock - get them from work all the time.
Anyone else rating grain waves too? the sour cream and chive flavour is amazing.
I'm no expert nor am I a monster on the squat rack (just hit my first goal though, repping 100kg haha). but I find one key to keeping my back straight is to keep my head back a bit and my shoulders really wide with my chest out.
Also I put a bench under my arse, so I know how far to go down...
Any single malt scotch is my preference, with 1 or 2 cubes of ice and a jug of water on the side to help with the nose. An exception to this is Laphroaig or however it's spelt. Don't ask me why, but I simply cant stand the peaty nose on it and consequently really don't like it. Personal favorite...
I'm 20 yrs old and around 5'10 and in the last 2 months I've gone from 85 to just over 74kg simply from changing my diet, staying off the booze and WORKING HARD. I am aiming to do an olympic tri this summer and ride some crits once i get better on my bike, and also hope to get down to around...
Whippersnipper.. squats are evil :D did my first set for a longgg time the other day, only used 60kg too and I can hardly walk today and same with yesterday. Sadly its meant i couldnt run yesterday either which sucked.
Doing them again this arvo.. I figure the best thing for me is to work...
Yeah depends what you're after I guess. I want to increase my running speed and performance, and therefore intervals are essential... costs a bit more but I assume it will help my training a lot. I could probably do them roughly just with something like an F6 or F4 but i want a bit more accuracy.
Hi guys,
I am looking towards investing in a (probably Polar) HRM soon and I was just curious whether anyone could share their experiences with training with a HRM and whether it helped or not.
I believe it will be an invaluable training tool for me, as I am runninng around 40-50km a week at...
