1944 with Buddy to come, probably puts me slightly above par?
Lucas, Z Smith, Whitfield (Viney on bench) and Zorko all hurt.
Wines, O'Meara, Goodes and Stevenson all pretty well, evens out I guess.
Taken from the his Carlton buddy thread.
Has been consistently in the bests for the Bullants this year, considering the lack of real downgrade targets he looks good.
Most likely one or both of Russel and Laidler will miss this week so should take their spot...with Bower, Houlihan, Curnow...
Re: In Game Chat and Discussion: Round 10
Sitting on 1997 with a qtr left from Ballantyne and Sandi.
Lucky with Martin's 71 as emergency for Barlow. Seems as though it might be above ave around here
Just wish I had of kept Montagna as capt instead of changing to my new recruit...
No trading for me.
I'm fairly happy with my team, the only under performing players would be Tippet and Medhurst. I'm banking on them turning it around.
Aside from that I've made the correct bench calls and all players are par or better.
You shouldn't be expecting big scores from those 2. Why is Warnock on your field? He's certainly capable of averaging 50+ a week but he's going to be very up and down this year. Should be nothing more than your 3rd ruckman.
Richmond aided his rd1 score as Simmonds is probably the worst player...
Hille should get better. He showed some good signs last week, I expect him to progressively score better as the weeks go on.
Warnock on the other hand will not be rucking unopposed very often. Will be interesting to see how he scores against Brisbane this week.
Why is the Dustin Martin Box sitting below where it should be?
Anyway, interesting to go with 4 starting mid rookies. How long do you think it will be before you upgrade?
I think I have a pretty solid side, not off to the greatest start so far 445/6 but it's a long season :thumbsu:
Good luck everyone!
Edit I have $5,900 cash
Joseph? He will tag either small forwards or small pacy mids.
Carrazzo will probably play on a bigger bodied midfielder or half forward / back like Hodge. The sort of guys that hurt you with their disposal, and he has done quite well the last couple of years.
Richmond have no damaging players...
I don't think so.
He is such a great stopper these days I think he'll get too many 'jobs' to be a great scorer.
Let's face it, beside Deledio there was nobody for him to stop tonight.
The thing with Betts game tonight was he didn't take anywhere near as many marks as he usually would for the opportunities he had.
Also barely ran through the middle.
I think he will have a good year, well hoping anyway
Obviously you have gone with the 3 rookie starting mids for a reaon if you are confident they will all play and score well then go for it.
I'm not sold on having both Ziebell and Dangerfield.
That team could really score well...mate if you think that team will work that's a ****ing awesome...
I have to disagree, every year players in that price range step up to become keepers, and before every season not many can see they will step up and play it safe picking the usual guys.
There's a few good indications that Betts will have a good year, whether he does or not is a different...
It all depends on how confident you are in your 2 rucks.
I'm gambling on Hille recapturing his form from a couple of seasons back. At his price I think he's too good to pass up.
Seeing as he is coming back from a major injury the risk is always there so I think having Lobbe (r) / Tippet (f)...
Great post. I think this new rule is going to be the difference for a lot of people finishing in the top 3000. If you can have a couple of links in your side you will go a long way in avoiding a 0 and or having to trade.
At the same time though, I wouldn't sacrifice any of my picks just...
3,165
My highest place was 600 then I hovered around the 1000-1500 for most of the season.
Round 15 I copped six 0's and scored 1550, dropped to 3000 and have stayed there for two weeks.
