I'm on tapatalk, can't see if this has a no opposition posters tag or not so delete this and forgive me if so - but it still sort of makes sense. If somebody averaged 3 goals a game from their 49th game to their 99th, the comment "averaged three goals a game over his last 50 games" applies, even...
...no? I enjoy reading the thoughts on the Harvey thread, was contributing to this thread to before it slowed up - in a pretty reasonable manner I must add. So....no thanks.
To the Eagles fans coming over here - it's been a rough week for North, if the roles were reversed we'd all be fuming if North fans came round and started chipping in about club funds or professionalism. Just be smart, stay on topic. I really dislike North but it shouldn't be hard to show a bit...
Not that this is admissible evidence (at least not to my knowledge), but somebody posted this over on our board which shows they both jumped at the same time - helps the case that Lynch's jumping in was not unreasonable.
Ziebell decision was utter crap, everyone at the time accepted how awful it was. I thought Lynch should have been cleared, but saying this makes the Ziebell decision look worse is just going to get more frustrating in the long run. The Ziebell decision was filth and has been from day 1, whether...
Weather is fining up over the weekend, but raining all week so forecast change is on the cards.
Atley worries me out of the backline, really gained a lot of respect for him in the Tassie game - also 100% endorse what SpaceClef said about Hill vs traditional tall defenders, but Woosha has been...
There you go. That's impressive. I don't believe it that much from any sort of personal experience, but if it's possible then it explains the LT situation. Play on.
How does that even contribute to the discussion. I get the West Coast hate, it's fun to have a scapegoat, but how does that answer in any way contribute.
I have no issue with North, or the MRP. Shuey was an idiot for doing what he did and he's getting an awful reputation. He needs to sort...
Let me rephrase - you don't get hit in the nuts and deal with the pain enough to get on your feet then sprint.
That can't happen in 10-20 seconds, that's a ridiculous turn-around for any man, if anybody got elbowed in the nads they'd be down for a while, not charging around in 10-20 seconds.
Likewise when you get hit in the balls you don't get over it in 10 seconds.
I'm not saying it wasn't a dog act by Shuey, I'm just saying you've said he got hit in the plums but didn't really feel it/it didn't hurt enough to incapacitate him, but you're also saying Shuey elbowed him full force...
Lindsay Thomas went down like he'd been shot after being elbowed in the body. Now I don't want to say Gold, gold, gold for Australia, but he should definitely be in London right now.
That was sarcasm by the way, although just like Shuey is getting a rep for ducking, I don't think it's unheard...
I accept that, and I'm sick of Shuey doing stupid stuff like this, already gone once this year for off the ball stuff. If we lose the games he's out but he never does anything pointless like this again I'll call it a win. I'm just saying he couldn't have hit him with much force if LT was up and...
I was paraphrasing dude, it's fine. I agree that the umpire was out of line, I agree Shuey should get suspended, I'm just saying there's no way you can get up and sprint away within 20 seconds if there is any real force to that area, anyone who has felt a hit there would attest to it.
Lindsay didn't cop a knock, if he had he either has literal balls of steel or none at all. He was on his feet within 12 seconds and sprinting full tilt laying a 'tackle' within 20 seconds. Couldn't have been much force on the knock if he's sprinting about immediately after. And believe me, we...
Stupid act, didn't need to do it, but 2 weeks is waaay too harsh in my eyes. A reprimand or 1, including his carryover points, will do it for me. It's up above 300 points before the early plea, so it's actually up to 3 weeks if he challenges.
More interested in the Lynch/Atley confrontation...
Round 1 last year over here, obviously the game looks a little different now as it did watching it then, but woosha basically disregarded tagging. Harvey got forward and kicked a goal in about a minute. Dont think he ended up with too many touches but ran all over us when he had them. Not sure...
