mate he's played 2 games for us and was pretty decent for a 2nd gamer I thought
Give the poor bloke a chance. Comden with his injury record aint coming in until he's had a decent block of games in the VFL and gets through them unscathed
Yep agree. But i think Shiels is just injury cover at the moment, don't think he'll get a go for a while. Lazzaro will get another run too IMO so I think Wilphil gets another game in the VFL to get some more confidence after a pretty good run last week
we were excellent for a half and Im a glass...
Does VFL player qualify as a VIP now ? dropping the standard !
ps shame, I thought he had some talent but long long road back for him and just cant see it
they've just removed the Govt discounts on EV's here...now the car yards can't sell them and the 2nd hand market has crashed so im guessing the prices for 2nd hand ones will be pretty good soon !
I think the problem with Smith is that he's had such great hand eye coordination but with things slowing down as hes got older, there isn't the technique to fall back on
geez $25k for a commonly used phrase that most of the easily offended brigade would have used as some stage and not even thought about what it meant....its a crazy old world..
pretty soon you're going to need a signed consent form from your dog to rub his belly
Southees last 4-5 test have been pretty ordinary and it took a jaffa catch from Phillips to get a wicket this innings..... in bowler friendly conditions
been a good bowler for a long time but I think he's pretty much done
Plus why the fu&k are we picking Kuggeleijn to bowl 6 average...
hard one to gauge his worth
Think there is some difference between what Cam thinks he's worth and what he's produced so far in his career
would be interesting to see what other Clubs would offer
rather keep him but want the De Goey version not the Stringer one and he's been more Stringer like...
Nope. lost it completely in the first innings and the selection table. Should have bowled Philips more in the first dig and played Santner or Wagner ahead of Kuggeleijn
Green played the innings of his life on that track too
I agree its a Big Big ask. Ball is turning square with bounce, Plus still doing a bit for the quicks.Hard track to get in on too
so you'd think 350 plus is too many
says the man with his age in his username !
and no Im not wanting to talk cricket with you lot in the West island
bowled like Drunks and now batting like hungover drunks
No doubt, it's one of the best bits about test cricket watching batsmen bat on a track doing a bit.
was a bit disappointed in how we bowled.Thought we bowled a bit short and 2 sides of the track. Never been a kuggeleijn fan. has a bit of pace, but sprays it. I would have played Wagner.Southee...
I used to face Chats in the nets at club practise when I was a young fella. Used to hit me on the same spot on the thigh pad about 5 times a session and I'd get a big bruise
one of the best humans you could meet too. Used to come back from an Overseas tour, come to club practice and bowl and...
nah the Basin is a pretty fair track. Moves a bit for both the first innings but normally flattens right out and it wont look anything like it does come late day 2
They have to put a fair bit of grass on it as the wind drys everything out pretty quickly there
3rd highest test batting...
