Not sure if anyone's interested, but Shaun's father Brendan played about 100 games for Rochester back in the late 1980s. He was a pretty handy player. Shaun would be 10cms taller than him. His uncle John also played about 50 senior games.
Rochester, of course, is where ex-Roo Ash Watson plays.
Well done.
It was reported a little while ago that he might leave us, but many said he was a passionate supporter for his whole life, so there were doubts. He was very highly respected by us, so you've done well.
That's a very simplistic view of the world. I pity you.
Shaw might've offered another club something. He is a good runner and his skills have improved to a decent level. He might rue the decision to stay by this time next year because he probably won't get many opportunities next year.
As a Collingwood supporter, I would be interested in Ash Watson.
He was drafted pretty highly and had good credentials. I have watched a fair bit of VFL and he has pretty nice skills and ability to get the ball. Also seems to be in the best every week.
What are his chances of being kept...
I was trying to say (obviously not very well), that your supporters have a go at Buckley, but not Colbert, when they both did the same kind of thing.
Anyways, I think they are both good players. Colbert has been unlucky with his injuries. He really could've been anything.
Oh well, that's the way things go. He joined us in 1994 and at the time, we were having a pretty good run. We'd won the 1990 flag, played finals in 1992 (after finishing 3rd) and played finals the first year he was there. Brisbane were struggling at the time.
I recall Carlton and North...
