I can only imagine the reaction if this post was about your Club. All you need to do to get a reaction out of Cats fans is mention their ground, let alone a thread such as this....
Sure do & have done so even in our rabble yrs. It ain't the tigers i am on about, read over the OP in this thread, i can get that kind of rubbish on FB/Twitter if i wanted to so why venture here if that is the best that's on offer from oppo fans? The most staggering thing about the OP is, it was...
I don't usually go past our board on here, if posts like this are the best the BigFooty community has to offer i might keep it that way. This thread makes it easy to spot those who jumped on the #BigBigSound bandwagon leading up to the '19 GF.
I can't seem to find any of them, tho as i said previously, with an OP/thread such as this one followed by the comments on the opening pages there's no grounds for complaining when Tigers fans start acting like campaigners towards them.
After an OP like this threads, they have no right to complain about how any Tiger fans treat them. The irony is, post '17 they were probably among those telling us we were 1 hit wonders....
Plus 6 picks in the 1st 3 rounds of this yrs Draft, if this plan works those wishing for our time to be over soon are in for some disappointment. I'd rather we do it this way than trade out to stay at the top, that plan does work but has an expiry date.
I wouldn't even bother looking at the scoreboard in praccy matches, teams are resting players when the games are "on the line". It shows where they are at when they speak of wanting to win these games. Never seen a contender care about winning them & we never will.
You could make the same argument about any fanbase tho, you don't see ppl down the shops in Hawks gear anymore nor do you see any other teams gear but i am sure once they start winning they'll be out in force....
As said previously we clocked 70k Members while we were still a rabble, even after...
I grew up having plenty of ppl being campaigners towards us. There is a bit of "show on the other foot" going on but those who dished it out don't seem to like the return of serve.
2 points here, 1. I don't see how anyone on here has contributed to thier teams success any more than we have & on your last point, i haven't seen the Dogs do anything better than an "Essendon-like slide back into mediocrity" since thier only hit single in '16...
As a mod surely better is...
Re: Bombers, Dees, Tiges, Norf – views from the outside
GC and GWS will not fail!
the AFL will offer extra draft picks etc if these clubs are struggling, which in a way is a guarentee they'll succeed.
i do agree however they shouldn't be in the comp, funded by the afl etc as there are some...
Re: Bombers, Dees, Tiges, North – views from the outside
fact of the matter is, despite our recent record, 48k+ members is a good effort for a side that has finished 15th and 12th in the last 2 years....... it's not even xmas yet and we have 28k+ signed up already, if we can develope into a...
Re: **MB Thread** Bombers, Dees, Tiges, North – views from the outside
it's little wonder this post has been moved! it's utter crap!
"views from the outside" "no bias"..... thats all i have read for the last 10+ pages....... & i haven't even read the last 3 pages, skip to this page and it's...
Re: Bombers, Dees, Tiges, North – views from the outside
I'd discount '11 from that list but you have a point on the others...
'11 was yr 2 of the hardwick era and the ave. age in the top 10 B&F was 22.... (if it was 26+ i'd be deeply concerned). so we are still lacking experience - in...
