Wow, that was fantastic. My uncle is the one on the right in the cap. Never even heard about him doing that benefit concert. Will have to ask next time I see them. Thanks Ferbs!
I use / used this on my kids all the time. Their response is actually a good tracker of their cognitive development:
Stage 1 - No idea what you are talking about.
Stage 2 - Take it literally. "No Dad, put them on meeee!"
Stage 3 - Understand the joke. "Haha, that's funny Dad!"
Stage 4 - Pity...
I got tested the other day and that’s exactly it - text for negative or phone call for positive.
It’s a phone call for positive as they need to talk you through it and start the tracing process, so that story sounds like bs. I doubt there is even a automated positive text set up.
Are NSW not doing as much follow up testing as other states? It seems strange that they still have 386 active cases and Victoria only has 93 active when you look at their respective new cases over the last month:
NSW obviously had more overall, but their peak was two months ago now so you’d...
Not sure that they are really the same:
“Sorry Mum, I’m not going to be able to see you on Mother’s Day”
Because of Coronavirus - “No worries love, I understand”
Because North are playing - “Are you f***ing kidding me?!”
The most inhumane part there is all those blokes have been forced to sit in a position where they must cop a feel of the frank and beans of the dude sitting behind them.
What are people's thoughts on herd immunity being a viable course of action? I read somewhere (don't recall where) that for herd immunity to be effective approximately 60% of the population would need to have had COVID-19 and recovered. To put that in perspective:
- Italy has a population of...
Apologies if this has been covered in recent pages I’ve missed, but I see there is now a test which gives a result in 15 minutes. What are the costs of these tests? Couldn’t we order 50 million of them, test everyone in the country to get the full picture of the extent of Coronavirus and treat...
Yes, ******* stupid is pretty much how we are describing it. Apparently she has been back in the country for a week now and Singapore and Malaysia weren’t on the previous travel ban list, so it’s all OK...... somehow doesn’t make us feel any better.....
Bit hard to speak up too loudly though...
Hoping some of you maybe able to help out. Have a co-worker who returned from holiday in Singapore and Malaysia last week. Was meant to return to work today, but agreed to work from home until 14 days after she returned. Just overheard the boss on the phone, saying to her that if the remote...
Now that is a dad joke.
- Not too long.
- Will probably have to explain to your kid why it’s funny.
- Once they understand, they probably won’t find it that funny.
I’m telling it to my daughter tonight.
I think it’s just terrible and disgusting how Lance Armstrong was treated after winning the Tour de France seven times whilst on drugs.
When I was on drugs I couldn’t even find my bike.

A dad is watching his son playing with a butterfly when all of a sudden the kid grabs it “ha ha, got ya, ya little bastard! Let’s pull some of those f***in wings off!”
“Son! What are you doing?! You can’t do that! Because you killed that butterfly, you can’t have any butter for a week.”
“But...
Spoke to a mate who is camping with his family and he told me of his first world camping problem:
“Bloody kangaroo knocked over my satellite dish and now Foxtel is out”.
I said that wasn’t he meant to be camping but he said that didn’t mean he had to miss any cricket 😂
Cook? 200 odd. Bats through. Only reason his team is in front. Yeah, nah, shithouse.
Just on the result though, I don't think we are out of it just yet. Get the last wicket straight up ~170 behind. Reckon we could still knock up ~300 and give them a tricky total to chase on the last day. Take...
