Walters isn't fast, but deceptive and very very clever. He's one of our best kicks and evasive, so having him out hurts. Potential replacements in say crozier or Duffy are fast, clever, high half forward opportunistic types so speed will still be there, just not the same quality hitups.

What we're trying to say is that we don't rely on one of our forwards to get on top - we have enough spread in contributors, so your assertion about our ability to kick a winning score is flawed :P

Actually that's a bit backwards - Pav started firing because we finally figured out our structures, our mids were being played into form and delivery to the forward line was improved. Don't forget last season was our first under Lyon. The first half of the season we sucked - underdone mids...
