I've enjoyed his season and think he's one of the positives to take out of a bad year. I do agree to free him up this week. Carlton aren't AFL standard so he should stand well to have increased output if given the opportunity. Give him something to ponder over the off season.

Gooch is one of the players that is going to benefit from this disappointing season. He's getting a lot of games under his belt which will fast track his development for next year when we take another real shot at it.

Lever will turn it around, he's still a good player. He just can't be the #1 defender, once Goodwin learns how to utilise him then he'll be fine. But until then I'll enjoy the Melbourne melts while they work it out :D
