I'm just not convinced about Pearce for some reason. Given that I'm not, I'm sure Port will pick him up. He's a relation of the Burgoynes.

Not surprised but a little disappointed. Good for Westies that he had the chance to develop further in the AFL system. Would have liked a chance to see him play at AFL level.

Hassan is slower, more ball winning. Slightly older so has a mature, stronger body. Pearce is lightening quick, but is light on. Would take longer to be ready but maybe better in the long run, whereas Hassan doesn't have that scope but I'm confident he could contribute.

And you missed the point of what I was saying. How do we know White hasn't got rare skills as well. He hasn't been allowed to settle in the AFL side as Hentschel has.

How do you get that? The only tangible thing that seperates the two is that Hentschel has had games and game time to show he could be a very good player. At a base level they are different players anyways so the comparison is a little unfair.

Burgoyne got there on the back of his GF performance. Same with Kane Cornes. Cam Bruce is better than Edwards. Just. I love Edwards (another Westies man) but Bruce has age on his side and in the AFL that is about enough to tip the scales.

He hasn't made it official quite yet. There was something in the local Adelaide rag, rumouring something but nothing yet. Believe me we're keeping a close eye on that over on the other side ;)

It's not just us that are let down. Everyone club here has a prize ********wit making it easy to stereotype. Just be thankful that your stereotype is a mild-mannered club ;)
