Very true about the tackles, but our pressure has been immense Not sure exactly what our tactic is, but we seem more intent on corralling and then making the disposal higher, rather than flatter. Still I've been largely impressed with our pressure in all but 1 quarter

Autopsy Rd 15 vs St Kilda - Game Discussion and changes for Brisbane

Not sure if you guys have seen this http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/birthday-surprise-jakes-happy-to-be-king-of-the-kids/story-fni0fiyv-1226970090599?nk=56dc1fc0b2afc0c0c6adf061a1b89038 I have a family member in PMH and was told of Nate's plight last week. Bloody amazing, brought a tear to...

Toast Reece Conca Signed with Richmond for 3 years

Do you guys think that this signals that you have lost faith in Martin altogether? Perhaps Conca got a bit of the money allocated to Martin? Either way - quality re-signing, would have liked him at my club. All whispers and innuendo prior was that he loved the club, was just considerable...

Roast West Coast want one of our best players

As I said, the threat of PSD isn't something we've ever gone with as far as I can recall. And it i all only speculation until Conca actually says he wants to leave. Either way - the PSD can be used no matter who the player is or the position in the draft they are. If you price yourself...

Roast West Coast want one of our best players

Lycett would be attainable, but no I wouldn't have thought the others would be traceable for Conca. We are trying to strengthen our midfield, not weaken or break even.

Roast West Coast want one of our best players

WC have never white anted another club like that as far as I can remember Should he go, you may not get full value, but I'd highly doubt we'd pursue that path.

Cotchin wants to keep the #9

Have to laugh at the so called 'tradition'. It's been in place since 2003. Let the man make his own legacy(and for your sake's a successful one).

Mega Thread Free Agent and Trade Talk

I wasn't trying to argue the merits of that trade - more so that we haven't really had many draft pick only trades to get a true assessent of what they are worth. So my assessment that 12&13 for pick 9 was fair might be close - or it might be well off.

Mega Thread Free Agent and Trade Talk

Yep - i had a quick look myself at who had what draft picks. I know a few years ago Sydney offerdd you guys PIck 6 and 14 for pick 3 - which was turned down. There hasn't been a real market for trading draft picks - so hard to know at what point is breaking point? I'm not sure Port would...

I'd think they would just prefer the draft selections. Tell me honestly, did you write the above with a straight face? :)

Mega Thread Free Agent and Trade Talk

Self interest is always an unbackable favourite. It comes down to how many draft selections they will make. If it is 5, then the above trade is not going to happen. If however they are only going to make 4, they'd be interested in working their way up the draft order I would imagine.

Gents - not knowing how many draft selections GWS are going to use - would be interested to know a Richmond thought on the following trade Richmond give up Pick #9 for Picks #12 & #13 If GWS are going to only use 4 selections - they might be keen on working their way up the draft order...

Connors and Martin off field sanctions

You'd think Connors would be gone for two reasons. Firstly, he's been given enough chances by Richmond who have done everything possible to change the lad's life. Secondly, if it is true that Martin is involved - then removing bad influences from the club could help protect Martin from any...

    Positives v WC Eagles

If you watch our presser - the comment he also made was that he thought your midfield was far more defensively minded in the past. Stated you've had the stars in there - just not the intent to tackle hard Seems that has changed

    Changes for Port

a bit like your defenders today, Miller got the advantage of a much smaller opponent in smith due to brown going down. Dea will be an interesting one - i daresay Hardwick will want to make a statement about his commitment to the club - can't see him being dropped. Add to that, my limited...

Has everyone dealt with the fact we will not play finals this year!

You guys are a mile ahead of St Kilda IMO - they won't make finals. I do agree though that you could be pigrooted by the draw given to NM and Adelaide.

Has everyone dealt with the fact we will not play finals this year!

I don't disagree - which is why my post was based around you beating us. Balance of odds says we win, but games aren't won with stats, they are done so on the pitch

Preview Round 5 - Richmond vs West Coast

Very loosely - we use our ruckman as an anchor to the goal square, kennedy as the lead out full forward, lynch as the lead up CHF and Darling tends to reverse lead into the 50m. So I agree - we don't necessarily have all 4 as target options in the f50. As stated before - truth be told, only...

Preview Round 5 - Richmond vs West Coast

I do agree we a to play Etihad well - and it almost feels like a stupour for me where I am expecting our side to have a downer. However each and every week since about Rd 5 last year we have brought intensity to most games. Not that I would compare our side with previous one's - but it does...

Has everyone dealt with the fact we will not play finals this year!

No doubt you guys have had god awful fixturing to start the year - if you can sneak over us - that leaves you 2-3. The next 6 weeks will decide then if you make the finals. A finals quality side would be Freo at home, St Kilda and Port adelaide as well as GWS. That leaves you 6-6 at the...

    Changes Vs West Coast

Not really - Kennedy's in pretty poor nick at the moment - but it's being disguised a bit by his first 4 goals in a quarter against the bullies - other than that - he's barely got near it. The one thing our tall forwards do really well, in particular JK, JD and NN, is defensive pressure and...
