They always have a flat spot during the seasons, they can't always be based on current events and nail it. Still, thought this one was pretty funny; the Obama storyline was amusing, and the passenger jets being crashed into the Guidos was hilarious - pretty ballsy thing to do.

Fair chance they spent all of their time and energy on the previous two episodes; this was just filler.

They remembered that animated stuff can still have strong, involved and emotional storylines. Take a look at the Lion King, when Simba's dad dies, that was brutal as a kid (or Bambi); they went a little bit away from that and relied too much on animation and humour, good to see one with a solid...

Great episode. The Jap PM saying '**** you Dofin, **** your whrales!' was great. and Cartman singing Poker Face was golden.

Surprised you guys have only picked up on it now - the majority of their episodes go from 'idea' to airing in the space of 1-2 weeks; which is why they can do so many episodes on current affairs.

Even the premise is s**t - Jabba the Hutt's son getting kidnapped? Is Lucas too ****ing passed it and senile that he can no longer introduce a decent new character, so instead just rehashes old ones? SUCK MY BALLS LUCAS

Good call - if the CGI is acceptable for Star Wars movies now, then **** making the prequels, and start making some based around the original trilogy.

The ones with Admiral Da'Ala, the female in charge of a Star Destroyer Fleet? They were mediocre at best. I've read all of them up to the end of the NewJedi Order Series, but I cant remember them all anymore. Truce at Bakura was good, Courtship of Princess Leia was good. Thrawn Series...

The Thrawn series. Still the best books - probably better than the prequels too.

They aren't bad. It's just they are no where near as good as they used to be, which makes them harder to watch. The disappointing thing is, they could be great again, they should fire all of the writers, get the old ones back, and watch the first 12 seasons to remind them of when the show...

They should've - the Imagination Land story arc would've been awesome as South Park The Movie II.

Also the one where Homer gets a gun, he goes to the KwikEMart and Apu thinks he's going to rob him. Homer has a 'flashback' where he imagines himself as a rich Texan living on a big ranch because he robbed the KwikEMart; Flashes back to real time "I'll do it! I'll rob the KwikEMart!!" But...

The Cape Fear one; where they put the Simpsons into Witness Protection because of SideShow Bob, and they're trying to teach Homer his new name.
