We got our Powell-Pepper with pick 18, so by that measure you should all be on Port for the flag.

We wouldn't have pick #14 and pick #27. We'd only get #27 if we traded #14 to GC for that and #20. If we traded #14 for Longer and #18, our next pick would be #34. I'd do 14 and 34 for 18 and Polec, BTW.

See above. I've never known a club to re-draft a player who walked out on them against his wishes. Surely Brisbane wouldn't piss away two second rounders (and probably a 250k for 3 years or thereabouts contract, since as a previously drafted player Polec would be able to put a price on his head)...

You really think Brisbane would re-draft him? Has that ever happened? It's a possibility, but I doubt it. Don't underestimate the hatred that the two SA clubs have for each other. I couldn't see the Crows or their supporters welcoming Polec with open arms now that he's publicly nominated...
