Past #26: Taylor Hine - officially delisted by North Melbourne (31/10/14)

He's a quality player who I was sad to see go, but happy he landed at my "other" club Hope he has a breakout season Pretty sure he's the sort that Scott would like

Only reason he has been let go is because of our need to list trim I think he will be a good player and deserves his chance He's very brave and played a good match in our win vs Carlton Got some more gametime with all our late season injuries I'm hoping he does well for you

Yes, hang on, I'll just trade my bazooka for instructions on how to build a pop-gun

    Past #27: Aaron Edwards - drafted w/ #82 in '06 ND - traded to Tiges for #74 in '12 ND - 100 goals @ WCE

sort of player I thought the Suns should have picked up Solid mature body, not going to cost much, but will try his guts out week in week out. For a guy who can take MOTY I just can't figure how his hands let him down on the easy stuff

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

Interesting watching David this year having shared everyone's frustrations from his time at North Firstly, I suspect the expectations at Hawthorn aren't quite as lofty as they were at Arden St which will release pressure. Secondly, to me anyway, they seem to have addressed his indecision when he...

    Past #30: Daniel Pratt - drafted w/ #42 in '00 ND - delisted at end '02 - re-drafted at #74 in '05 ND

Love Pratty (just as an aside..if North was playing St Kilda last night and had given away that last Qwilt free...I wonder what would have happened if Pratt or Spud had played on like Geelong did and then given the umpire that god almighty spray...I'm thinking 2x50m penalties and probably a...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

why do you think I ever said he's worth nothing? I've already said 3 or 4 times he's worth the price of his current contract to The Suns..but I'd be fairly sure there'd only be a minority of the North inner sanctum who'd think the same thing...and I'd be surprised if many other clubs would be...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

It's unlikely Bozz To be honest Bluey McKenna has circled the wagons on the core youngsters and it seems they'd give up a kidney for him. I'd reckon on what I saw this year (5-6 matches) past the first 10-15, the others would probably struggle at AFL level anyway. If you go through the list its...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

I agree he has value..and GC will pay above his market value to get him, but signing him when he was playing wellwas a double edged sword..so, now,do you pay him 200K to run around at Ballarat as a back up...or free that money up for other players and work on the basis that Petrie Black...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

Well money's an issue for every club not just NMFC and moreso this year with agents being able to bump up contracts based on the GC bogeymman. David isn't worthless at the moment..in fact the deal being spruiked is for GC to just take over his current contract..but his value will be much less if...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

North has 3 choices 1)Retain David ...but the match committee has shown little interest in him this year and you'd imagine he'd be worthless at the end of 2011 barring minor miracles 2)Take a punt and try and trade him, but realising they may have to backend his contract, as whatever they trade...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

Not saying I know, but you may find Hale may not have fulfilled his performance clause based on senior games played this year

Past #11: Michael Firrito - did #11 proud - 2017 assistant coach at Strathmore FC w/ HMac & Narni

what I love about him is he has taken on the hard body role in the backline and IMO does that better.(read less crudely) than Pratty. I'm not sure enforcer is naturally in his personality but he's learnt that role and does it well. he's in the first 5 picked every week I'd reckon.

You little bewdy LT Best win of the year..controlled the game from the opening bounce and met every Carlton challenge with resilience and skill. LT this year just shows what a change of attitude and hard work can do. David hale take note. (it felt so much like 1992-4 last night...the team...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

I have a pretty good line on his plans..and I agree he would like to be back on the Coast. His wife and he are both born and bred here, and they have a baby due later on in the year with no real family except his mum in Melbourne, and she'll probably be in Queensland next year too. But wanting...

Thompson's a good footballer I think Slider might be taking the p*ss...I mean , in another thread he suggested Gold Coast would surely give up a first round pick for D Hale.

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

no.....the only winner from that is North I encourage you to take a look at Zach Smith, who is and will be the GCs premier ruckman. David Hale may benefit from a change of club..recycling players is an artform at new franchise clubs..but without knowing what he's getting at the moment..it's...

Past #31: David Hale - drafted at #7 in the Superdraft - 129 games for NM - traded to HFC in 2010

11 weeks ago I would have thought so....so count me I reckon North's getting to the stage where they'd be happy for another club to just pay his contract...and that's getting less likely each week too. I guess that's the danger of signing players to avoid poaching..sometimes you're left holding...

Ummm...I don't think Scott Clayton came down in the last shower when it comes to footy talent. The more David plays the more awkward and ridiculous he looks. Impossible to believe, but the game seems to have gone past him and he's never even really got started. Pettard and Jack Anthony will be...

Past #1: Hamish McIntosh - drafted at pick 9 in '02 ND - traded to Geelong for #36 in '12 trade period

I reckon Zac Smith will be better than both of them. D Hale might peg the interest of clubs as a back up tall/forward, a role he'd fill very well in the mould of Lade from the Power, in my opinion. Is David Hale as good as Steve McCann or Donald McDonald?

Great win by North today:thumbsu: Harro played his first match at Southport today and looked a class above. BOG then daylight. Was always a favourite of mine at North so great to have him up here looking fit and keen.
