Have a read of Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Three generations of a Chinese family covering most of the 20th Century China from Imperial China to the Japanese Occupation, the Civil War, Revolution and post Mao era. If you are wondering about where China is heading, then this will scare the pants off...

After reading the books Stasiland by Anna Funder and Wild Swans by Jung Chang I have come to the opinion that anything that comes from a communist government cannot be trusted, anything! There seems to be some talk about the virus starting in Wuhan in November and that China knew an out of control epidemic was occurring. US spy networks picked up the information and informed the Pentagon and Whitehouse but information wasn't acted upon...

Have to agree, this problem is one out of the box. What should be noticed is that Gold Coast and GWS have no debt at all because they are completely funded by the AFL. There are a lot of clubs that have significant debt and will now have to cope the extra pressure of increased debt.

First cases in both countries were almost exactly the same date. On Jan 28th Japan had 7 cases, USA had 15. Japan closed all their schools on Feb 28th. USA didn't. One of my friends who left here for Japan on Jan 20th and returned Feb 16th told me that he and his wife didn't seen anyone outside...

On Jan 30th the USA had 15 people. Today they have 400,412. You would probably have to wait to see what the Japanese figure goes to before making a judgement on whether their tactics are better.

The things you can and can't do are so vague. Pity the poor girl who was booked for doing a learner driver session. I know that her case has been withdraw but the police minister then said that driving lessons are out. You would think that being with your mother, isolated in a car would be far...

Andrew's has said that stage four lockdown may be introduced. I went and did a search but couldn't find anything specific. It is mentioned in every country newspaper, but what the restrictions will be aren't described. Does anyone know exactly what will be allowed under stage four lockdown?

As you say the numbers are irrelevant unless you know the countries population. What is important is the slope of the graph. The slope angle indicates how quickly people are being infected. The steeper the slope of the graph the quicker people are being infected.
