    Senior 6: Toby Conway (2021 - )

Been very impressive in his two games this year and has done some pretty clever things.
  2. G

    Senior 14. Connor O'Sullivan (2023-)

The run-down tackle was nice as well.
  3. G

    Retired 15: Johnathon Ceglar (2022 - 2023)

Harsh. Ceglar played a handful of good games for us, but was constantly broken down. Loats was just no good whatsoever.
  4. G

    Senior 10: Mitch Knevitt (2021 - )

Overhead marking wasn't that much of a focus for Corey, despite his height. I'm hoping Knevitt will show a bit of that.
  5. G

    Senior 10: Mitch Knevitt (2021 - )

Definitely more of a Mark Blicavs wingman than a Peter Riccardi wingman.
  6. G

    Senior 15. George Stevens (2023 - )

Just because he looks like a bit of a goof doesn't necessarily mean he is one.
  7. G

    Rookie 43. Emerson Jeka (2023 - )

It seemed to me like every time we needed a bloke to put together two or three solid weeks in the VFL to get some touch and match fitness we'd have another bloody bye.
  8. G

    Rookie 43. Emerson Jeka (2023 - )

You'd be a bit miffed. But Jeka's ceiling is quite a bit higher than those guys. It just depends on if he gets his head right. Speculative rookie picks like Jeka are a bit like buying a lotto ticket. Odds are you won't win, but if you do the payoff is immense.
  9. G

    B Rookie 40. Ted Clohesy (2022 - )

Strengths: hard as nails, knows how to kick a goal Weaknesses: lacks a kilo or three of muscle still, can drift in and out of games Will make it.
  10. G

    Senior 13. Jhye Clark (2022 - )

He looked pretty lively in the limited game time he got. Found quite a bit of the footy and tackled well too.
  11. G

    Rookie 31. Oscar Murdoch (2022 -)

Wow, how does Danger look older in that photo than he does now?
  12. G

    Rookie 31. Oscar Murdoch (2022 -)

That was never the issue with Jordan Murdoch. Ferocious tackler as I recall. The problem was poor decision making and erratic disposal.
  13. G

    Senior 19. Phoenix Foster (2022 - )

Didn't realise he was related to Daniel Foster. I remember him. Tall defender, bloodnut, wore #23 and had some rotten luck with injuries.
  14. G

    Rookie 31. Oscar Murdoch (2022 -)

Me gusta. Looks like a cross between Zach Guthrie and Mark O'Connor.
  15. G

    Senior 45. Bradley Close (2020-)

I'm really liking what Close brings to the team. Watch the last quarter here: Geelong goals v Port, R13 2021 He was involved in almost all our goals in the last 1/4. Such quick hands and instinctive knowledge of where his teammates are. You can't teach that.
  16. G

    Senior 16. Sam De Koning (2020 -)

Good! He seems to be a bit less spindly than he was at the start of the year and looks as though he's moving well. He moves smooth for a big guy as well, I just hope he doesn't become too casual.
  17. G

    Senior 30. Tom Atkins (2019 - )

Jeez, they don't even look that dissimilar.
  18. G

    Traded 34. Joshua Walker (2011-2015)

Re: 2010 Rookie Draft selection no. 23 - Joshua Walker Hunch.
  19. G

    Delisted 31. George Burbury (2011-)

Re: 2010 Rookie Draft selection no. 40 Hope the kid has pace and good disposal, because he certainly hasn't got height or bulk. Maybe one of the perks is some inside goss on what teh Sainters are doing.
  20. G

    Traded 34. Joshua Walker (2011-2015)

Re: 2010 Rookie Draft selection no. 23 - Joshua Walker I reckon players turn out 5% better if drafted by the club they supported as a kid than if someone else gets them. So yay.
  21. G

    Delisted 15. Jordan Schroder (2011-)

Re: 2010 National Draft selection no. 54 - Jordan Schroder How many picks do we have in the rookie and pre-season drafts? If we're short of talls now, are there any prospects we can pick up then?
  22. G

    Retired Joel Corey (2000-2013)

Re: Joel Corey... He gets a lot of the ball from clearances, which means he's often under pressure when he gets rid of it. That doesn't excuse his poor delivery, but it is a contributing factor.
