That was back in the mists of time. Back when they took time to teach players to kick the ball to a team-mate, as opposed to directly to an opponent. Gee, thats going back.
Dick and fart jokes never get old.
I broke up with my girlfriend because I like my women like I like my coffee. Without other men's dicks in it.
Boom tish
It was a messy game to follow. I wasn't really looking out for him. I just noticed his high number 64. Mainly around half forward. The way he beat his opponent a couple of times, a very strong mark, and his moves in heavy traffic a couple of times. Wasn't taking stats or looking out for him.
Talent is easy to pick. The big thing is the unknowable: desire and dedication. He could have it in 2016-17. But something could happen (injury, family dramas) and he loses it. You see the group photo and you think "Out of all of them, which one or two will actually succeed."
Casey. The game where they absolutely belted us. I got there just before half time. We had just booted a couple of goals and we looked like we could get back in the game. I remember telling my son: "We are in this." at the time. Then the second half happened. lol I went there to see Ratugolea...
Tom Aktins will surprise. He has a game that can easily transition from VFL to AFL. He kills in heavy traffic. When I saw him at Casey(?) last year, I remember thinking "Gee, who is that guy!?" Given a chance, he will be bloody good!
Remember that too. But also, I remember almost from his first game the opposition giving him a lot of attention, and he was still doing ok. ..went back to the reserves after a while, but still.
Wouldn't it be cool if he took home the Brownlow in 2021. We could could all look at this thread and just marvel at how really weird the world can get.
Gifted forward. Been unlucky with injuries. I'm hoping he will have more luck with you guys. Heaps of natural talent as yet untapped. Most supporters here were pissed off at the coach repeatedly killing him in the backline.
