I agree it was an accident, that wasnt my point, my point is when a player runs into an umpire the accident theory is gone and he then gets rubbed out for it, or warned or fined because he should have been aware of his surroundings.
Hang on a second isnt the player supposed to be watching the play as well?? Looks to me like the only drongo ball watching was the umpire, if he wants to prance around maybe he should also look where he is going.
All you people (umpires) have to realise that we dont care about you, your job is...
How could the umpire in last weeks game get off scott free after blatantly running into a player because he wasnt watching where he was going?? If it had of been the other way round the player would be out for 4 weeks...just another reason why players must get so pissed off with the AFL
