Run harder, get to more contests.
Say you're a slightly less than average footballer who wins 40% of their 50-50 contests.
Get to 50 such contests in a game, you'll get 20 touches.
Re: Jarred Waite's punch to the ball vs Adelaide
No it's not. If it's after a goal has been scored but in the same passage of play it's taken in the goal square.
Same principle when fights start after someone scores a goal and a free kick is given to the team that scores the goal.
Correct decision, just a dumb rule.
ALso, Carlton have to worry about Waite's ill discipline, the punch and then the mock swing at Tippett after he took the mark, was not proffesional football.
Torney's deliberate was a square up as the Ump realised he shouldn't have payed play on.
You cannot tell me Wakelin's wasn't deliberate. Name one other plausible thing he was trying to do with the ball. The best my mates and i could come up with is he thought he could kick it hard enough that...
I always worry about the people who still have violent anger for the umpires the next morning, sure in the half hour after a game it's understandable but seriously dude, get some perspective!
Not to mention Collingwood played crap and were behind all night and did not deserve to win:rolleyes:
