God, this could take forever yet.
The silver lining is if the players do yet get banned at least Essendon can field a team until then.
Downside is they wont be backdated.
Trolling was probably a bad word, but you are not taking the matter very seriously.
I'd just like to see a sensible post on the matter from you as WADA may yet have the players banned.
Lance, I have always appreciated your posts on this matter and have always been level headed.
And I completely understand wanting to let rip after 2 years of this, but keep the trolling away and properly comment on ASADA's stance to consider the appeal as I am interested on your thoughts and...
I can't see why ASADA wont go all out here?
Why not take it as far as they can to CAS, all they have to lose is some PR that they couldn't get a guilty verdict.
Probably better than that they "caved" at step 2.
HTB,
May as well discuss this in it's own thread as it's worthy of it's own one.
ASADA will hold a meeting this evening and hold a press conference at 11 am on the 1st of April, 2015 to declare weather or not they will appeal the decision of the AFL's Anti-Doping Tribunal.
Do you believe they...
That's probably because it's not the AFL's problem to remove Hird if his players are found guilty of doping.
That would be Essendon's problem to remove him.
But I'm glad Essendon are still looking to be on the front foot about all these matters and take responsibility into their own hands.
I assume they must be facing bigger sanctions than Carlton did for the Salary Cap issues.
I wonder if there is something very big that has not been reported yet the AFL know.
My stab in the dark would be Hird's playing career or the supplements that were injected - might not be "unknown".
My...
Hello all,
I was reading the Bomber Thompson statement from earlier tonight - and I noticed something very interesting at the end.
Am I reading too much into this sentence or is a insight into something to come?
Non-Essendon posters believe the Essendon Football Club should receive a...
Hi,
Tonight on The Footy Show Damien Barrett (whether you like him or not, or agree with what he says) in his segment said that it was becoming increasingly likely that the players would escape WADA/ASADA sanctions and the club itself would be looking at sanctioning.
My question to you all...
You could argue though that they are the best because the best was enhanced.
However, I agree with you that they shouldn't award one to either.
If I was Trent or Sam I wouldn't want it anyway.
The Brownlow is awarded to the best & fairest player each year in the umpires view.
As far as I'm aware, the only way to be taken out of the count in the fairest category is to be suspended (or I believe have over x amount of points).
If there is a clause in the rules about the usuage of...
