I think a statement from the CEO might as well be officially advertised. Pro Team, half baked management mode... In terms of gameplay all we have that works properly is play now and season mode. Obviously 99% is an exaggeration but 50% of the game is just missing.

If we really want to go back, just look at everything Ross said in the interview with Twistie at the launch event. While they obviously corrected themselves and said there wasn’t going to be a player career mode, Ross acted like it was already complete and I’m pretty sure he was laying out...

NBA 2K has actually had trouble balancing this at times, there have definitely been patches in game cycles where the best of the best can consistently make shots with any 3pt rating.

More to the point, I get that they say we can create copies of the teams and edit those or whatever and that’s fine. But I’d like to be able to use said teams in management mode, or any teams I want to really.

I just don’t understand why we can’t have full customisation for all offline modes, Champion Data or not.
