There's an update that's been released for the app. The quality of the AFL.tv stream seems to have improved, so it will be interesting to test it out on a live game tomorrow night. I believe there are DNS server services that allow you to do so.

Hopefully they increase the quality to a certain extent. Doesn't have to be a threat to Foxtel, but that extra bump in quality would be great.

For what it's worth, I've been watching on tv but just checked then, and it worked. It asked me to turn on location settings for the app, so maybe double check that you have done that, or even turn them off and on again.
