I think it's also a bit different when they're an expansion club. Leaving to go to something that isn't, and won't be a threat feels different.

Legit it's hard to conceive of how/why a ruck coach would need to be a full time job. Seriously, what would you spend your 38 hours a week doing?

As a commercial move AFLW would seem to be a massive winner. Given our market penetration in SA a way of increasing support in SA let alone increasing a foothold in a relatively unaligned jurisdiction is brilliant.
