I come in peace.
This weeks team and in particular Rosee. Is he and others over that flu thing?
Or is Rosee and orhers still coming back from it?
Thanks
Good luck this weekend!
Just firing a shot across the bow of the umpiring department.
Happens all the time by Vic clubs when they play in WA. Viccoaches and media jump all over a questionable free kick count.
Voice of affirmation exists in all states homegames against interstate teams. Not just WA.
Freo need tall forwards not another small mid / forward.
Eagles won't trade for him as he'd cost too much and they need to hit the draft.
So SA may just be an option.
You obviously dont know what a king hit is mate. A king hit is a swinging round arm to the head from behind with the person getting hit not seeing or expecting it. Now the Jonas hit, that was closer to a king hit.
And the description of the Gaff hit, I'm just repeating exactly what Brayshaw's...
At least Gaffy was looking the other way when Brayshaw ducked into it.
In 2018 Gaffy was still concussed by that brutal Jonas hit.........from behind.;)
McGovern was simply showing Jonas how to spoil correctly within the rules of the game.;)
Gov cleaned up Darling in a tackle at training a week ago and is now out injured.
We arent playing netball people.
Ruck question.
If Port chase and land Grundy what is the future of Lycett?
Copped a shoulder injury, surgery and then unfortunately an infection. So a rough year.
Is he contracted?
Would he be pushed out if Grundy came in?
Would he go cheap if it was a salary dump to help land Grundy...
Lucky he isnt playing then. And your guys dont drop at the knees so much when bracing for contact like Brayshaw did.. ;)
Anyway. No way Portloses this game. I will bet a body part Eagles will be 18th on the ladder at the end of the round.
No Naitanui, McGovern, Gaff, Allen or Sheed. Plus most of the quality mids still getting over covid or coming back from injury.
So sure. Strongest side so far.........is still a weak Eagles outfit.
Port should win this by 40 plus points.
Just
Mate, Im still enjoying that ridiculous suggestion you made that Oscar Allen is worth SPP in a straight trade. I cant help it if your bloody funny! Every poster outside this board I mention it too cant stop laughing either.
For a Mod you do make some very strange posts and emotional...
West Coast know that its not really their priority nor their problem. And pick 29 will end up 27 and they need young mids and this draft has some decent ones around that pick.
And there is all the off field dramas. And SPP's questionable mates back home. And a decent contract $$ dated...
Actually they would, opinions on the main board dont have the bias supporters do.
It would indicate who has a realistic expectations and who doesn't.
I'll leave it at that. See you on the Draft / Trade board........if you can be bothered. :thumbsu:
Didn't say free. I said the Eagles won't pay a high price. ...nor should it.
All depends if Port want to retain him and his salary.
And how they plan to improve in 2022.
Eagles have been very safe drafting ever since Cousins fiasco.
Hopefully the club is starting to realise good footballers arent all perfect private school boys.
Well baby on the way! WA girl. Schofield to the Eagles.
Wonder if the rumour is true or journalists just joining dots?
Interesting times. If the Eagles are interested its a big policy shift in recruitment.
Why?
The poster I asked the question of had quite a unique view on players changing clubs for more money.
Others on here queried aspects of what he was saying.
Suggested on our board Port are very keen and the clubs are talking trade not rfa move.
Sounds like Port, Lycett and Eagles all know he is required at the Eagles due to Naitanui's injury but will work something out that is fair.
May need extras from Eagles. Partington? Karpany and M Allen all...
