The alert page on RWO is pointing people to this board; so welcome to any RWO refugees, especially those from the NSW/ACT Footy board, who end up here. We've got a Sydney AFL...
"The Encyclopedia of AFL Footballers" by Jim Main and Russell Holmesby, which claims to have every AFL/VFL player since 1897, doesn't have anyone by that name.
Did he ever play seniors? Maybe he was in reserves or juniors - that would explain why there's no record of him in that book.
The Central Coast bid would keep something of Northern Spirit alive - it wouldn't be the same as the club I loved at North Sydney Oval, but if they get up I'd probably support them. Otherwise I'd probably get behind the Sydney club, but it's still a waiting game to see what the details of the...
On the railways, the main one is the City Circle. That's been round for ages, plus there's a few tunnels around North Sydney and Wollstonecraft. The Eastern Suburbs line also has tunnels from Redfern to Bondi Junction, that was built in 1979; and the new Airport line between Central and Turella...
Don't know if any of the other routes are running, but they're not on the route going from Northmead unfortunately - I'll have to drive down to Parramatta and get a train from there.
I'll be there, but they reckon it's going to be 41 degrees. Ouch.
Black Thunder, this is up on the East Coast Eagles website. The aftermatch will be at the Paddington RSL. It's on Oxford St, after the game go up past the Football Stadium, then walk down Oatley Rd (just next to Victoria Barracks) and it's across the road at the lights.

With the Swans playing so well, and with 23,000 turning up despite the horrible weather we've had up here in the last week, I would have thought the sponsors would be very happy.
If I were a Swans sponsor (I'm not, I don't have the money to sponsor any team and I'm a Bomber fan, although I was...
Hi Motorace, I didn't realise it was you until I read this - I suspect Mantis didn't either.
Mantis, Motorace is OK. There's some shocking bandwagon types in Sydney, but he isn't one of them.
I had a look at Swans Talk - and MtS's theory is entirely credible.
If anything untoward did happen in a Perth nightclub, you'll need to be more specific. And don't tell us, make a detailed statement to the WA Police, get them to lay charges and testify under oath in court.
Hi j_b_g, it's Teal here. If you've got the pic you want, you'll need to resize it to 50 x 50 pixels (which is tiny). I did mine using Paint, but you could use PhotoEditor or whatever you've got on your computer. You might need to change it to a .gif or .jpg file rather than a .bmp or it'll use...
Re: i hope heath has a better year with no injuries
I doubt he'd have made up his mind yet. Depends whether he gets drafted - if no AFL club picks him it depends what other offers he gets. He's originally from Tasmania, so a TFL club would probably be interested.
He's a good forward, but he's a fiery character and prone to the odd brain explosion. Not what you want from a captain.
Nicks or O'Loughlin would be the obvious choices - and I'd favour O'Loughlin. Nicks didn't have the best of seasons this year; although it'd be unfortunate for him if that...
It's Sunday 10th February, starting 4pm. Tix are $12.50 (incl booking fee) at Ticketek, and they're on sale now.
Hopefully the weather will be fine this time - although it always seems to rain whenever the Bombers are playing up here.
The roar from the crowd when he comes on, especially in the first game, would have to give the Swans a lift.
I've got a reserved seat in the O'Reilly Concourse, and to hear that "there's only one Tony Lockett" song again would have to be great for the team.
What could well happen is that they'll hype up the "blockbuster" games even more than we've seen before. Live prime-time telecasts on Ch 10 will be good for that.
The first game, with Plugger back in the fold should get plenty of coverage. The 3 Saturday night games at Stade de Oz should get...
He's been out of the game for a couple of years and had injury probs before that, so it's a big ask for him to get back to full levels of form and fitness.
But if he can do it, the Swans certainly wouldn't say no to a proven 1300-goalscorer. And it guarantees a 40,000+ crowd for the first home...
