So if you traded out a couple of players for early picks, you could afford to start bringing in more players?
It is about an extra million that you have in the cap IIRC, so if you trade out ~3 players (at around 300-400K each) you should be able to start trading for players.
Very ordinary...
Cracking game (although my dog was at serious risk). Hopefully Walters pulls up OK,and we roll on from here. Gods I was annoyed at our kicking (although a large part of that was the pressure in our forward 50). Maybe we can play the next one over here?
Do you guys have pictures of the umpires...
Absolutely being rushed back. He was ready for WAFL last week, but there was a bye so he didn't get a game. He won't ruck all game. Hannath will do a fair bit of the rucking you'd think, and Clarke will play more forward.
It's getting hard to get a game in our midfield. The thinking is that he let Sidebottom off the chain for the 2nd and 3rd quarters. He carved us up and was responsible (along with Swan) with getting the pies back into the game. If it was between him, Sutcliffe and Crozier to make way for Fyfe...
For the sake of our 5th string ruckman, I hope that Mumford stays out this week. He already got the baptism of fire from Jolly.
I hope we bring the pressure that we played with on Saturday.
For the guys on here worried about tall defenders, the only likely talls floating around down forward...
i would think so, a lot of talk about our in's this week.
i expect kepler to come in as a roving forward/ ruck relief, probably grover in for macpharlin, and maybe schammer in for broughton (we have other options but schammers wafl form suggests that it is indeed schammertime).
