Review Round 5, 2021: Box Hill v North Melbourne, Sunday 16th May @ 12:05pm, BHCO

I prefer just to keep him in the VFL while we get spanked in the ruck and clearances every week. Expect Ceglar in next week.

Preview Box Hill v Carlton practice match, BHCO, Sat April 10th

Was in the middle a plenty of times against GWS. If we have the skipper to go in against Gawn when needed, it could work. But then anything might work. I’m just desperate to see a different mix in the middle.

Reeves, although not a good matchup for Gawn, is a good matchup for Jackson. I’d love to see it.

Fantastic to see Nash amongst the goals. I really believe he just needs to keep confidence and he’ll be best 22.

    Review Round 14, 2019: Box Hill Hawks v Geelong, 6 July 2019, 2.00pm @ BHCO

Koschitzke looks a few preseasons away. Just watched the last quarter and I don't think I saw him once without his hands on his knees.

To be clear, didn't mean any disrespect to the Rough. Only joking about his lack of historical hangtime. Good effort all round by Box Hill, especially young mids, their development is crucial.

Can you really handle the answer to that question? Wow. Did you spot a flying pig in the moments beforehand?

    Review Round 3, 2019: Port Melbourne v Box Hill Hawks, 20 April 2019, 2.00pm @ NPO

Connor Glass named in the forward line, but did he play midfield? Hope he can get some consistency, expecting him to be named ruck next week

News 2019 signings and other news

Interesting to hear they've tried Conor Glass in a new role. I think they saw him as a running half back, but he just hasn't come on there - he seems to really struggle finding space back there.. his tackling has been unexpectedly impressive though (maybe all those extra sessions with Nash), so...

    Review 2018 1st Preliminary Final: Williamstown Seagulls v Box Hill Hawks, 16 September 2018, 2.10pm @ NPO

I think it's still too soon to mention Meatloaf in football circles.

    Review Round 20, 2018: Box Hill Hawks v Casey Demons, 18 August 2018, 2.10pm @ BHCO

Last week Chris Newman said Cuz was "almost trying too hard at times". Obviously young James doesn't really know what to do with that feedback. Great that he's been so consistent over the course of the season. People who saw the game, what are your thoughts on O'Rourke? A big end to the season...

Review Round 17, 2018: Sandringham Zebras v Box Hill Hawks, 28 July 2018, 2.10pm @ Trevor Barker Beach Oval

I agree with Toasted, it seems to be our actual game plan that he struggles with. It's not like he's always getting 20-30 touches but lacks polish, he still gets lost which (like TOB) is not a good sign for a mature player. I'm not saying he's a superb kick, but I think it speaks more to his...

Review Round 17, 2018: Sandringham Zebras v Box Hill Hawks, 28 July 2018, 2.10pm @ Trevor Barker Beach Oval

Thanks a lot for your post. I'm happy to hear O'Brien has returned to the back line which I think suits him best. Another pre-season there and we'll see him become a regular next year. Langford is a missed opportunity all round, I feel. He has talent, has ferocious attack on the ball, it's a...

Review Round 17, 2018: Sandringham Zebras v Box Hill Hawks, 28 July 2018, 2.10pm @ Trevor Barker Beach Oval

Thanks all for the updates! Did O’Brien play forward or back? I’d guess that Langford played forward given his 8 touches.

Review Round 8, 2018: North Melbourne v Box Hill Hawks, 26 May 2018, 2.00pm @ Avalon Airport Oval

Full senior bench named just to screw with the Eagles. I miss the days when the team was just announced and stayed the same.
