Carlton and St Kilda (assuming no late changes) will both have numbers 1-9 running around. For Carlton it’s the first time since 2007, for the Saints it’s the second time since 2003.
Is this similar for other teams?
What is the highest consecutive numbers 1 thru x that have played together in...
Is there a simple way to find the number of games two players have played together? I'm particularly interested in the 21 players who have played the most games with Nick Riewoldt.
Is it possible to generate a list of players who left one team, St Kilda, and played in a Premiership elsewhere. The Saints list would include McEvoy, Guerra, Ball.....
Which team has had the most leave to play in a Premiership team?
That's what you get for trying to work it out in your head rather than look up the numbers. I forgot about Fisher and Markworth not playing. And Pierce.
Trent Dennis Lane has just been named in the Saints squad. If he plays he would be I think the 43rd player used. I doubt that this is a record but how does it compare to the higher totals in say the last 20 years?
I'm not sure if this belongs here but it's stats related.
The AFL recently made an announcement that the 200 club was to be expanded to include those who had a combined 200 games from playing, coaching and umpiring. They included a list of 50 odd names who now qualify.

Daniel Archer has finished his AFL career playing in one game which was a draw Has any other player ever done this? Has any player had a multi game career that were all draws?
Edit: Should have done the search first:oops:
I believe that Trevor Barker has the unenviable record of most games played (230) without playing a final.
Who played the most number of games before their first final. Off the top of my head I thought Bob Skilton might do it. I think his first final was game 218. Has anyone beaten that...
Last night the Crows scored a total of 24 points.
In each quarter the Saints scored more than 24 points. I'm sure this has happened before especially in the early years of the VFL but when was the last time it happened?
They won the last game in 98 so it was actually six wins followed by six losses. The extra losses don't matter as long as they matched the six wins with six losses.
What is the greatest number of wins that has been preceded by or followed by an equal or greater number of losses.
eg St Kilda from round 10 to round 19 in 1987 went LLLLL WWWWW. Has any team done better / worse than this?
Re: Post your stats questions here
When St Kilda beat Collingwood at the G in 97, the 3/4 time score was the same as the 1966 Grand Final 10.14 Saints 10. 13 Pies.
Re: Post your stats questions here
Players who have kicked a goal in every game they played.
Jamie Cripps and Arryn Siposs have both scored goals in all four games they have played for the Saints. The best I could find for the Saints was Greg Packham 17 games 24 goals. Not an outstanding...
