No, Parker wasn't going for the ball. Got him high and was dangerous. In his favour, Impey wasn't knocked out. Generally, most reports are based on outcome rather than action. (With a Cotchin/Burton exception). But, who can confidently pick what Christian will do?

Ok, so there is a loose ball scenario, player A approaches the ball, before he can pick it up player B comes along and shoves him fair and square in the back, player A falls to the ground, player B waltzes away with the ball. Do you honestly think that it wouldn't be a free kick?
But you can have a push in the back in situations other than a marking contest, watch the game today and I can almost guarantee there will be a push in the back paid that is not in a marking contest. It is pretty pointless arguing at this point as you are clearly 100% wrong.

MRP will spin the chocolate wheel, where it lands nobody knows. Think he whould be ok, but it's impossible to predict, the rules this year have been completely different this year compared to the last few.
It all stems back to Adrian Anderson's ****ed up system where a bump is considered more serious than an elbow. The bump has more activation points than an elbow, hence receives a harsher penalty, it is a stupid situation where you are better off raising the elbow/forearm than executing a bump.
