Half the people on this thread still carrying on have to genuine trolls, Bay 13 tier stuff
Exemplified best by Ihle using Maynard veering off his line as part of the defence. You realise the other person can contribute to the incident without being blamed for said incident? Happens all the time...
Oh you watched the game did you? I went to the game, Ponsford Stand, myself and everyone around me clapping Brayshaw off. Must've just been seeing s**t then. Yeah we were all actually cheering with glee that Brayshaw got injured of course and not just drowning out Dees' supporters boos (which to...
Well I guess they didn't have all that much passion for the game. Tbf, many players pursue tertiary education part-time whilst playing, so they could finish VCE/HSC/etc, get 1st year of undergraduate done, then go to the draft and switch their course to part-time.
He's the captain of the Giants? What a disgrace...
EDIT: He was only captain temporarily later in the season. Still, a leader of the team is doing this s***?
So... it's settled then?
In all honesty Bombers supporters may just have to unfortunately get over it. I've seen a fair few Collingwood games myself lost from shocking umpiring decisions/omissions. Shockingly, I am still here, Collingwood is still here, life continues on :)
Who's to say, if Essendon are awarded the 50, that he wouldn't miss right in front?
That's the difference between this game and Sirengate between St. Kilda and Fremantle in the mid 2000's. The AFL could replay the footage and objectively hear when the siren has gone, thus signalling the end of...
According to the corrupt-to-the-core AFL, Mason Cox's bump is equivalent to Dusty's running to elbow an unsuspecting bloke to the HEAD, 80 metres AWAY from the ball.
Wouldn't be surprised to see them give slaps on the risk for similar situations in the future. Thanks AFL.
Had the privilege of paying one of these in a junior game after a bloke did the exact same thing, only in the side about 3 seconds later :P
Poor kids tried to convince me I was making up the rules. It's not me mate! It's the AFL...
Pretty good thanks. Just finishing up some Legal Studies homework and might go for a bit of a drive through this storm that's descended upon Melbourne out of nowhere.
Might watch some footy after that, either West Coast v GWS or Melb v Geelong.
Will be a cracking night, hope you enjoy the rest...
I will now be expecting players to throw the ball up in the area 10 metres in front of them and meeting it with their foot on a weekly basis.
Though it is not explicitly mentioned in the laws of the game, I believe umpires would be smart enough and use common sense when people attempt this in...
Goal of the year is decided by fans on the AFL website hence my statement, "The boss of umpiring department doesn't determine whether the people consider it a legitimate goal."
