So the 'top 10' draft pick is just for optics then if it seems teams are willing to give it up for later picks. Either Geelong are dead set on someone they feel won't last, or like i said, it just sounds better.

Freo will offer a first round pick and Connor Blakely. Sounds like he will fit in well too.

Seems I am in the minority but I think Howe would be a very good pick up for the Pies. Good (not outstanding) footballer, experienced and provides great flexibility.

That is his onfield availability, not performance ;)

It will be a first rounder. Pick 30 odd is just not going to be enough unless something else is added. Yes GC have shot themselves in the foot, but he is still contracted and with all the problems, he has shown that it has not affected his onfield performances.

Cue the outrage! I would much prefer we target Bennell than Jetta, but I can't see it happening.
