  1. Drop Kick

Club Focus Collingwood 2022 - Bobby Hill, McStay, Frampton, T. Mitchell, Allan, Ryan, Richards, Murley

Since 1960 St Kilda has won 1 flag, Collingwood has won 2, that tells me the Pies haven't been very good in my lifetime. Ratts is apparently going out for dinner with Buckley, to compare notes on getting reamed by their clubs. :D:D
  2. Drop Kick

Club Focus Collingwood 2022 - Bobby Hill, McStay, Frampton, T. Mitchell, Allan, Ryan, Richards, Murley

That team looks quite capable of losing the Pies another grand final, look forward to it. :D:D
  3. Drop Kick

Traded Aaron Francis [Traded with #42 to Swans for #37 and F4]

I wonder why Sydney are thinking of trading for Francis, maybe they want to strengthen their reserves team ?
  4. Drop Kick

Traded Tom Mitchell - Traded to Collingwood as part of 3-way trade (details tbc)

Does Tom have a brother named Dennis ?
  5. Drop Kick

Traded Tom Mitchell - Traded to Collingwood as part of 3-way trade (details tbc)

How come he's not a free agent when his contract expires, he was drafted in 2011, played his first game in 2013. Free Agency was introduced to the AFL competition in 2012 and the eligibility criteria was updated in 20019 to include the following scenarios; The condition that a player must...
  6. Drop Kick

Traded Tom Mitchell - Traded to Collingwood as part of 3-way trade (details tbc)

And then list quality drops off big time ?
  7. Drop Kick

Traded Tom Mitchell - Traded to Collingwood as part of 3-way trade (details tbc)

Realistically, a ball butcher like Mitchell is about a late 3rd rounder at best at this late stage of his career. If that doesn't suit Hawthorn then they'll have to keep him for 2023. :D
  8. Drop Kick

Traded Aaron Francis [Traded with #42 to Swans for #37 and F4]

Essendon didn't realise they were getting a GOP when they wasted pick 6 on Francis, a pick they got from St Kilda, for Carlisle. A dud trade all round. At least Francis made it to AFL level, a lot of players don't.
  9. Drop Kick

Delisted Lochie O'Brien [rookied by Carlton]

    Oh Oh Oh O'Brien
  10. Drop Kick

Delisted Lochie O'Brien [rookied by Carlton]

Not sure about that, he's been delisted, so for a high draft pick, he's not much chop.
  11. Drop Kick

Recommitted Tristan Xerri [contracted and requested a trade to St Kilda, didn't get there]

Will the Saints offer North either pick 67 or 85 for Xerri, surely he's not worth more than that.
  12. Drop Kick

Recommitted Sebastian Ross [re-signed for 2 more years]

Seb's manager should have rang up Carlton, they might've taken him.
  13. Drop Kick

Free Agency Tim O’Brien [FA signing for 2 years at the Bulldogs]

I've seen him play, he's definitely restricted. :D:D
  14. Drop Kick

Free Agency Jarrod Brander - signs with GWS as a DFA

    I agree with that :D
  15. Drop Kick

Delisted Lochie O'Brien [rookied by Carlton]

We'll have to see if they keep him or delist him.
  16. Drop Kick

Delisted Lochie O'Brien [rookied by Carlton]

Carlton might have to pay someone to take LOB if he's not much chop, much like Gold Coast are trying to do with North re Macpherson.
  17. Drop Kick

Traded Jeremy Finlayson [traded to Port Adelaide for a future 3rd]

GWS seem to be driving their Jeremy's away from the club, although this one is not as good as last year's departed Jeremy. :D
  18. Drop Kick

Club Focus GWS Giants 2021 - Brander, Callaghan, Aleer, Fahey

Even if a club was interested, Coniglio is on too big a contract, way above his current worth and too expensive for clubs to take over in the Covid era, especially after it's affect on the salary cap.
  19. Drop Kick

Free Agency Jarrod Brander - signs with GWS as a DFA

Carlisle, Frawley, McKernan and Roberton all gone, not that we would've really challenged dad's army for oldest team. :D
  20. Drop Kick

Free Agency Jarrod Brander - signs with GWS as a DFA

I'm a bit surprised Geelong haven't asked Fremantle for a straight swap, Clarke for Mundy.
  21. Drop Kick

Free Agency Jarrod Brander - signs with GWS as a DFA

Are there any issues with Brander's kicking, i've read that he can't kick very well, is that accurate ?
  22. Drop Kick

Club Focus Collingwood 2021 - Kreuger, Lipinski, Daicos, Murley, Harrison

I'd imagine North will bid on Daicos at pick 1, Collingwood will then match the bid and pay the points, somehow, and move to the end of the draft queue, then North will nominate the player they really want whilst laughing their heads off.
  23. Drop Kick

Recommitted Caleb Marchbank [contracted and staying at GWS]

was that the same bloke ?
  24. Drop Kick

Recommitted Caleb Marchbank [contracted and staying at GWS]

Is Marchbank still contracted ? Marchbank would have no trade currency, too big a risk for a club to waste a draft pick or a player swap on. Leaves the player in a Lygon Street Limbo.
  25. Drop Kick

Traded Peter Ladhams and #16 traded to Sydney for #12 and F3

If a club is interested in Ladhams they should offer Port a 2nd round pick and that's it, he's not a 1st rounder, if Port rejects the offer, let them keep him.
  26. Drop Kick

Recommitted Mason Cox [re-signed with Collingwood for 2022]

I think Cox will be at North in 2022, giving Larkey a chop out.
  27. Drop Kick

Traded Peter Ladhams and #16 traded to Sydney for #12 and F3

He's way too young for Geelong, they could be his 3rd club.
