Averaged 16 last year. Not huge, but doesn’t need to do much to boost his numbers.

Like Langdon, Hunter et al. (Walsh) needs to leverage his huge endurance base and accumulate/provide defensive coverage in the last five minutes of quarters.

Some of his best possessions came at half back too.

So if a player is delisted off the main list, and the club commits to pick them up in the rookie draft, they don’t need to nominate for the ND? I didn’t think this was the case. Have the rules changed?

They’ve delisted him and have promised to take him as a rookie but it doesn’t seem like they are too phased as anyone else can jump in Since they didn’t sign then move him

I think clubs have an agreement that they are fair game in the ND but if they get through other clubs won’t pick them up in the RD.

They will, however, be able to shift players on the senior list to the rookie list in the time between the national and rookie drafts if the player is contracted for 2022.

Correct but in this case O’Brien wasn’t contracted when delisted nor have he signed a new contract

How on earth am I wrong? Let’s for a second agree that Lachie hasn’t signed, by the AFL rules he can still sign any day and be moved on to Carlton’s rookie list in between the 2 drafts, correct? I’m not wrong.
