Pay Titch 800k to complain and act like a flog when he's played on a flank or pay gunston like 200k to just be happy to be a mentor and coach for young players. Gee wiz it's the same thing
Not sure if we could afford to give up a future pick 55+ odd to cheekily pay a coach through our abundant salary cap and avoid the footy department tax.
Hawks/WCE have good relations so it won't be a "we won't budge until X!" Both clubs will know what each want to achieve and will just do a "Hey we plan on X on this date, but if all else fails, let's do Y Instead as a little favour" this media drum up is to generate clicks. Both clubs aren't...
"Shopped senior players disrespectfully"
"None leave, Most came back far earlier then Scheduled for pre-season, Probably pissed off at Sam, who they all know personally"
Checks out
ANYWAYS
Since we're starting to rotate more guys through the middle and building versatility, Tom's been...
Sucks. He's a really likable player but absolutely not durable and his body has let him down time and time again, From Having a super bad reaction to the covid Jab to catching pneumonia of all things at hawthorn
Would be a sad way to see him go.
No chance he's pretty happy over here, Considering where the clubs list is as well at 27, The club needs to hang onto players in that age bracket as well for a couple of years for a re-build considering they have 9 players over 30 but only 5 between 25-29
Not for Francis. Who's going to be an elite midfielder. If you got Duursma+ top 8 pick and a future, yes it fleshes out the list a bit more, but you take a potential champion player then some depth.
Ill die on this hill.
Goldstein has been utterly fantastic, He's suffered from legit starting his career around two of the greatest ruckmen in our generation.
Trash tier name, Kurt/Tobias/Tyler. I've done him a favour calling him Kirk and putting him over Westhoff who in his first year gave one of the best defenders ive ever seen in Darren Glass an absolute bath in one of the more rare dominant performances, some skinny first year player with the...
You know how you sometimes get Athletic talls you try to turn into part-time ruckmen who could go forward to take pressure off your main targets and kick a goal or two? But they suck for like 17 games, servicable for 5, Like Kirk Tippett always threatened to be? and he got some bullshit money...
Honestly, rather not. He was great this year and his knees have been good since going to England for surgery 3 years ago
If it was to happen, pick 16 is alright. Rather O'Meara teaching and working with the young guys then purely pick 16
And he slotted the goal, was expecting him to kick it into the man on the mark.
I mean you get your hands on 99 contested pack mark situations and eventually you have to take one
At this point, Im happy if he goes elsewhere and becomes that rangy tall forward who clunks marks. Just please, for the love of god I want to get off the Tim O'Brian Express, please take him
The issue is Celgar is on more coin then you would think. He had a big purple patch in a time we were still trying to contest and he had offers from 2/3 clubs so we had to give him about 150k more then what you would think he's on and the extra year
Yeah Hickey has legitimately been a top 5/7 ruckman this year dude don't know why you are using him to put down Celgar. You could use him to put down most ruckman in the game
Also Celgar ******* smashed him this year. He also smashed Grundy
And that comes to his problem. Wildly inconsistent...
