There's no such thing as 'relocating' a club, if you relocate a club, you kill it. The Fitzroy Lions died entirely when the Brisbane Lions became a side, as did South Melbourne, strapping a name on the end of a club doesn't preserve history, you've just created a new team.

The cash can be there, but the broadcasted product hasn't necessarily improved, and in some ways has gone downhill (mainly referring to Channel 7s broadcasts). Switching over from the cricket on Friday night in HD, to Sevens SD broadcast, the gulf in quality was ridiculous to see.
